Learn to read and stop with the stupid strawman arguments. It's getting fucking frustrating being purposely misinterpreted by liberals here desperate to "own" me.

- don't make the mistake of thinking I want to discuss bullshit like this seriously

spoiler (click to show/hide)
- Just where does that animosity come from?

- Because I am suffocated in a white guilt shithole every day, I don't need it online.

The temp immigration stop is a dumb over-correction. Just a political gesture towards an idea that most likely hurts. The increased screening is something I figure most of the public supports, but putting a full stop on things is derp.

And no, societal issues that we can't do shit about because there are already laws against them shouldn't be protested or at the very least should secondary because they dilute the message. But I can't expect from your particular group to understand what practical solution is or in fact to ever achieve anything. The Narrative™ is above all else.

but then

That is a police issue, that's what protests against police violence and corruption are for.  The Baltimore police department is notoriously corrupt and people have protested against it. You pressure the officials by protesting against that particular precinct, or police in general. What you don't do is organize a protest about all the fucking issues in the world while at the same time your main message is basically "Fuck Trump, I can't believe we lost".

Which is it, or are you making this shit up as you go. The Baltimore police department, like the Ferguson police department and countless others, clearly violated their citizen's constitutional rights. But because we have laws against them, in this case the constitution, protesting against these departments is useless right?

You have this very weird, special fellow-like view on the topic. If the protest isn't 100% on an issue you deem valid, it's an aimless futile protest that dilutes the message. It shouldn't be surprising that a "women's march" focused on a variety of problems and issues facing women today. From sexual assault to abortion to birth control to the wage gap you don't believe in to...etc etc etc. Likewise every recent protest over the death of a slain black dude has been about violations of constitutional rights, corruption, etc etc etc...not just the murder of one person.

Evidence about one police department mistreating rape victims doesn't make it a global rule. Ferguson? So now you protest against police brutality too in a fucking women's march? It would be easier if you made a list about what you don't protest about. You people have no fucking idea how to organize or demonstrate which explains that circus. Your last paragraph has already been replied to a million times.

Anyway, my original point was that this wasn't a women's march it was a liberal bitchfest and it's 100% true. I'm done with this stupid discussion.

Increased screening wouldn't do shit either. You want a strongman approach to fight the root of terrorism? Freeze all the accounts of every Saudi Royal fuck even suspected to have ties to terrorism. Saudi Arabia is the biggest exporter of Islamic terrorism in the world, embargo and  isolate them until they fix their fucked up country. The problem in that country isn't a few bad apples, it starts at the very top.

Not that it would be a very diplomatic solution but it would certainly be Trump-like which is why I mention it. The man is a huge fraud, everything he does is for appearance, not to solve a problem. Banning citizens is flashy and would satisfy his supporters' identity politics bullshit, that is the reason why he did it and only that.

There's no solution anymore, at least not for the next 20+ years. The only real solution would be to go back in time and prevent the US from constantly fucking with the Middle East for decades while funding, arming and allying with religious lunatics. Obama's wars were the last straw that broke the camel's back, Middle East will need plenty of time to even start recovering now. As for what the US can do, the best solution would be to stop meddling in the region altogether and start distancing itself from Saudi Arabia and Israel. US, Israel and SA are biggest causes of religious extremism in the region, all for different reasons of course.

Full quote is: "I am establishing new vetting measures to keep radical Islamic terrorists out of the United States of America," Trump said during the signing at the Pentagon after the swearing-in of Defense Secretary James Mattis. "We don't want them here."
He added, "We want to ensure that we are not admitting into our country the very threats our soldiers are fighting overseas. We only want to admit those into our country who will support our country and love deeply our people."

What headline does CNN run for the past 8+ hours?

"We don't want them here."
