Most college educated voters (52%) prefer Buttigieg (24%), while most voters without college education (48%) prefer Sanders (28%).

Klobuchar love from the media makes no sense.
She's been around DC for a decade. She's from the Midwest. She's boring because she speaks in forced cliches. They think "regular voters" love all this stuff. Especially when the opposite would be Trump. Just like how voters flocked to Walter Mondale, George H.W. Bush, Bob Dole, John Kerry and Mitt Romney in the last Presidential re-election campaigns against their more "personable" opponents.

He bores me so much. I have no idea what the fuck is up.

After consultation, I will admit that earlier today I thought AOC was born in the 1990s and did not check as per normal benji regulations and operation standards, I am suspending my exploratory committee for Vice President in 2020 and will discuss a resignation or leave of absence with the board of directors, I just hope that someday I can find forgiveness in my heart for myself.

Another reason for the results delay: Many precinct chairs abandoned the new app that was built to report results, as users struggled to log in.

So far Deval Patrick has as many first votes as the guy who ran for nearly three years, spent millions of his own money and then dropped out on the eve of the caucuses because he claimed his staying in would help Bernie.

I like how we're getting final reports including vote counts from the thousands of reporters there on Twitter faster than the DNC can actually do it.

Are the reporters working for free for Twitter, or getting paid to post their paid content on twitter?  :thinking

The fact that they won't report on the totals is extremely concerning. Never in the past has anything like this happened before. I am calling on the OAS to monitor new elections and, if that does not happen, I am calling on President Obrador Lopez to send troops from Mexico and intervene to restore American democracy.
Was the opposition party even allowed observers into the Democratic caucuses?

I like that everyone is talking about rigging and not about how fucking stupidly inefficient and ridiculous our political parties are at something so basic as tallying fucking numbers. Meanwhile Estonia has online voting from home.

And to add insult to injury it's for a caucus, a tiered delegate election type designed specifically for the constraints of the 19th century. Meanwhile Estonia has online voting from home.
Nobody would expect that an app that people have been complaining about for an entire year would not work properly when launch day came.

Iowa won't switch from a caucus because if they go to a primary they lose their first place status, New Hampshire is guaranteed the first primary in the Democratic Party bylaws.

Nevada won't because it lets them do them in the casinos.

Every other state has abandoned them. There were actually 14 in 2016 which was less than 2012 which was less than... the GOP has hated caucuses for some time so they've been helping on this front, it's the Dems dragging their feet because causes empower organized interest groups.

Actually, it's even older. Party conventions are what are from the 1830s. They replaced the congressional and local party caucuses which was considered not democratic enough.

States didn't use caucuses to determine delegates to the conventions but a whole variety of different methods. In fact, delegates to the Constitutional Conventions were more often than not elected by the people. Even those sent to the Confederation Congress were often elected through methods that looked more like a primary-general or a run-off system.

Even in the presidential system, primaries date back to 1911. Caucuses replaced them as part of the Democratic Party's process. The Republican Party traditionally has just copied whatever the Democrats do because then the states will pay for it.

A precinct captain in Dubuque tells me the app to report results didn’t load and nobody helped. She’s now on hold with party officials.

William Baresel, the Floyd County chair, told me “I have had 3 precincts unable to report results.” They couldn't report through the app or by phone.

Trip Gabriel, reporting from Dubuque 11m ago

You think figuring caucus results is easy? At the precinct I was at, organizers stumbled over the viability threshold, miscalculating 262 people x 15%.

On ABC they said the delay is because of discrepancy between their three set of results? From the way they are talking about it sounds like the Democrats bollocksed it up big time. Can understand Bernie bros going conspiratorial if it hampers his media drive he would have gotten otherwise from winning.
