In 2021 is having a type not politically correct because it's a form of objectifying women?

Because I have a type and I sometimes I feel guilty about it because of that. I still date mostly people who are not my type (because my type is mostly unattainable). But man when I see someone my type I get pretty excited.

This seems like a massive red flag. Just sayin'.

Just curious - what's your 'type', Bebs?

fellas, imagine being on fb talking to a girl you like and some dude gets in your inbox telling you she talks to him or used to or whatever other bullshit trying to make you lose interest  :lol women really allow that shid to get in the way of potential happiness with someone they like  :rofl just laugh at the bitch and keep talking to the person you have interest in  :yeshrug

I've had one of the GA girls telling other girls she sees me interacting with that I'm married and whatever else she thinks will make them lose interest. she was a good friend to me while I was out there, but goddamn just chill out  :stahp do they really think we only talk to one at a time while single?  ::)

Eh, it's mostly just that I'm into tall goth/emo girls, and most tall women won't date a shorter guy so it's kind of hopeless and I've made peace with that.

A girl who I went on one date with and who hasn't responded to a text I sent almost a month ago decided to respond today to say "Hey sorry I never replied. You are a nice guy but I did meet someone else. Thank you". Why say anything at all at this point? ???

The coworker who destroyed me with his belt and I became regular fuckfriends.

Eventually I caught feels, and told myself I wouldn’t ruin things by telling him.

But then one day HE confessed to me. So we kinda dating now.

Did you respond with a picture of your hand and comment saying “so did I”?

Like what the hell was the point after all that time to respond? That’s a shitty person and she deserves to be called out on that shit.

People nowadays...

Making an SA profile to try it out since y'all we're talking about it now that I'm getting back to dating.

Coming up with usernames on dating sites is tough, everything feels so cheesy or lame.

There is a kind of neat aspect to it where you're constantly getting emails that people are sending you messages (but you gotta pay $99 to read them and lol). It's like that IG good brain feeling of getting likes. Since normally on normal dating sites guys don't get a lot of making the first move messages (or at least I don't).

So the ironic part of this all is gonna be that the one person I signed up to send a message to probably bailed from the site and never even saw my message. I don't think SA shows read receipts on messages, but it shows profile views and I've gotten like 100+ views and like 25 messages but nada from that person.

If I don't hear anything back by the weekend I guess I'll make some use out of the rest of this one month sub and try talking to someone else.

One thing I've noticed is that there's definitely some attractive and interesting people on here, but most of them are the same type of people that I'd meet on other dating sites and if they were on a different site I'd probably throw them a message since they seem cool, but I wouldn't want to do it on SA because of the implications.

So I forgot which of y'all were using and talking about SA last year, but how does this work? If someone messages you and wants to set up a date somewhere but in their profile they say given the nature of the site it should be mutually beneficial, like what are they expecting? Buying things for them on a date? Taking them to a nice restaurant and taking care of the bill? The latter seems pretty normal to me in dating, but the former isn't really something I've ever done and I don't want to be taken advantage of. Not sure how to approach this. I'm getting a looot of messages and there's been a couple nice messages from women with cool profiles.

I haven't replied to anyone yet, and had a couple people rage quit, but I wanna figure things out so I don't waste anyone's time before replying.

Also have you ever gotten a message or like on a dating app (not SA, normal dating apps) from someone with an impressive resume before?

I just got a like on one of the dating apps from someone that is like the equivalent of like VP of Marvel Studios. I'm kind of flattered....and kind of interested.
