Pretty similar logos though.

I think the danger for the water brand is that it might be seen that they are owned or associated with Nuclear Blast given how much synergy there si between the brands and the way they market themselves.

Still, don't be typical fucking millennial dicks about it on social media.

  • A drama series about exploited delivery riders called for delivery riders to appear as extras - without pay.
  • Extras should be paid $211.63 per day, though there are some exemptions.
  • The ad was posted on Facebook twice over the past three weeks, but has now been removed.
  • SBS and funding agency Screen Australia have made it clear that all people employed on productions are to be paid.

What makes it worse is that SBS is the government-owned multicultural broadcaster. They should all know much better.

Anyone who thinks you stole anything as an artist is an idiot. You were just drawing cool skulls, same as Will Carsola who did our logo and a lot of our art, and same as Steiner just drawing cool skulls on his Insta. No one copied anyone. And it's my fault for this misfire on making a joke in public that started this whole pointless debate in the first place. NB can monetize the skull you drew for them however they want. We don't care and never really did. Hopefully they at least paid you well. And I was serious, would love to pay you to do a piece for the bottom of our case box. Your are is rad. My bad joke was not.

I guess that guy is just unaware of the perpetual "did/do QR codes actually get used?" debate that pops up at least a few times a year.

NFC almost definitely has far wider consumer usage.

I think QR codes had their mainstream moment with COVID and their use for contact tracing (at least here they did).

the qr codes are sometimes used here by online shopping sites to connect with your bank-id for payment options.

but it's not a very common solution, there are much easier options available

i live in a seaside town where second home WANKERS flock in with their teslas in the summer.

muskian aesthetics seem positively ozymandian when confronted with a thick layer of sea salt condensation and repeated salvos of seagull shit.

So, I just walked past an Apple store at opening time and the staff literally clapped and cheered as the doors opened.

WTF?

I would personally walk the guy who came up with that to the guillotine and support the interment of those staff who participate in a re-education camp.

The best part is they colluded with Neelie Kroes, who back then was supposed to regulate such companies :trumps

She also denied this multiple times on national TV when 'conspiracy theorists' confronted her with these 'falsehoods'.
Those conspiracy theorists were then rightfully cancelled from talkshows for spreading fake news and disinformation.

You gotta love how petulant some of these articles about an incoming recession sound.

You can tell the super tight labor market that shifted some power back to employees for the first time in years really got under some people's skin. There's a real "just you wait, you'll learn your place" tone to them lol (looking at you WSJ Op-Ed page).

Quote from: puck.news
—Netflix and shill: It’s hard not to see Netflix’s ad deal with Microsoft as a precursor to a possible acquisition (if the government would allow that after the Activision Blizzard deal). The combination of Xbox, all its game studios, Minecraft, and Netflix would be super powerful within the world’s third largest company. Netflix is relatively cheap these days, and remember, co-C.E.O. Reed Hastings previously sat on the Microsoft board.
