If Evilore opens GAF back up once this blows over, I guarantee a lot of people will waddle back to it. There's only one nexus of hardcore social justice.
Especially people that were only there for gaming-side. OT is dead for good though. It's entire environment was co-dependent on it's echelon of moderation.
Gaming side is no better. A massive amount of threads are either started, or turn into, absolutely nothing about gaming or business. It pollutes everything - trying to figure out who said what about anything. I recall the giant thread about the girl who worked at Nintendo of America and her getting fired, because of what people thought were some weird past comments, which turned into a massive torch and pitchfork campaign against NOA.
Later on it actually turned out she was an escort and was turning tricks with her boyfriend's approval. Any mention of that, however, on GAF was banned and the thread was dismissed because it didn't fit the narrative of 'unjust firing' that the horde put out there.
