Can you ever get more than two amenities? And if not should I just have two types of visitors?

You can only display two at once, but your process is saved regardless if you display them or not. So since you use the amenities to raise level caps on the different types, that works even if you don't have them up.

I recommend you do all, otherwise you'll miss out on tasks from half of the villagers and be behind if the rotation doesn't have all of them. Also eventually you won't be able to level properly, they stop at 7 unless you level up amenities.

Yeah just go wild making the amenities as you get the level cap increase forever and regardless if it is displayed or not. I'm currently building the skate ramp to raise the sporty animals to lvl 15, I've already built the other 3 level 15 items

I'm level 40 now and leveling has gotten much slower as all the animals have arrived, and each level takes more animal level ups on top of that. I've been crafting a few of the "special request" items and these take 24hrs, 10k bells and a ton of crafting items to make. Is this the endgame already? I guess the ultimate goal is fill out the whole catalog and get all 40 animal pictures. Should be good for like a years gameplay haha. Looking forward to seeing what they add to this game over time

If not, don't worry. I'm not going to spend leaf tickets on quarry access and I have no intention on adding Bore weebos just so I have enough people to get free access.

Since the holiday event started, I've spent 610 candy canes on furniture. It's pretty easy to save up, just do quests and quarry. Add random people and send them invites. I accept all friend requests because of the quarry, worked in my favor. Good to have people living in different timezones too since not everyone bother lending a hand.

And I managed to craft every Christmas item except for the snowman and the fireplace. Though they're the most expensive so I guess this is where the real grind starts

I'm very torn between what I want my camp to look like, so right now it's a mess. Trying to get that ice cream stand so I can set up some kinda cute ice cream shop.

I've just been crafting whatever those pesky animals ask for so my camp's been a mess from day one. I also upgraded my camper twice but didn't even touch its insides

Also feels like some days a bunch of animals will request one specific item that will refuse to spawn properly and get me running to a dozen different camps trying to buy it. It's happened with two different kinds of shell, horse mackerels, and fruit beetles earlier today. Caught an army of butterflies and a bunch of horned dynastids while waiting for the green little shits to spawn. After I got a couple of them, bought some more and completed all the requests they start to spawn properly. Starting to feel like those spawn chances are rigged

Good thing you don't have to keep the request craft items around after the animals arrive, easier to keep it looking nice and the way you want.

I read something on Discord today that you can force a reset on stuff like bugs and fish by restarting the app. So of you scare away a rare, it'll apparently be there when you restart the app right after it escaped.

This is great advice. I thought the auto option would just stick all the shit somewhere, but having it go away afterwards is really nice

A couple of things I learned which may have been obvious:

Daily timed goals are different for everyone!

The fruit trees at the river are different for everyone! I was wondering why my pears and cherries were selling well as I assumed everyone had an abundance of them, turns out they're my "native" fruits.

It does say in the notification/ press release that you may need to level for the animals to appear. Not 100% on any specifics though. I have a bunch that the first 6 or so visitors are preset so you should get Bluebear on the way to level ten? Idk
