Either way, men definitely love trans women. It's kind of an open secret. If not, T porn wouldn't be as popular as it is. Your thing about hips is completely irrelevant to the topic. Getting laid as a trans woman is pretty easy. So their whole thing about "trans femme" (which sounds super cross dresser eugh) is wrong.

haha. people getting carried away. ResetRetard will burn you alive for not being attracted to a transperson.  :lol

i don't mean to offend but come on. I get turned off so much by a girl with too much of a chiseled jaw line.  Some of my friends like girls with upper body muscle, i almost puke.

My girls gotta be super feminine, and have real thickness down low. Thighs and hips destroy me  :aah

I'll never understand the bitching of the alt-righters in this thread when they are just as predictable on any given issue as the people they complain about on gaf or resetera.

You can pencil in the response just based on the topic.

Complain about Group think. Knee jerk to opposite position. It's like a math equation.

He sounds like your typical conspiracy theorist. They talk like that. I had a friend send me a cryptocurrency prospectus recently and it was straight up fucking gibberish, conspiracy theory lingo. It's easy to spot. They talk like no normal person would talk, with tons of made of abbreviations, analogies that make no sense, ambiguous quotations, etc.

wtf is this

https://www.resetera.com/posts/1177185/

Quote
What's the oldest lie in America?

That Lex Luthor behaving like The Joker wasn't intentional.

The entire point of the movie is to show that the Superman mythos belongs to no one and everyone at the same time. This is the historical baggage that Snyder is aware these characters carry: An endless barrage of fanboys and comic book lore since the 30's, comparison to other iconic characters, and everyone thinking they have the last word on how these characters should and would act. It’s already been mentioned there’s a very blatant reference to Excalibur (1981), a modern retelling of the 15th century legend Le Morte d'Arthur. It is shown on the marquee at the theater ("Coming Wednesday") on the night Bruce’s parents are killed. In the end Batman slams the spear into the ground (stone). He pulls the spear out of the ground before he attacks Superman (sword from stone). After he realizes he's become the bad guy, he abandons the spear the same way Arthur did after he abused its power to defeat Lancelot. Lois is the lady of the lake, tossing the spear into the water and then having to get it back before the final fight. The fight between Batman vs Superman is similar to the fight between Lancelot and Arthur (two good guys fighting against each other due to hubris and passion, eventually reconciling to fight the main bad guy) Doomsday is Mordred. In the end Superman stabs Doomsday and gets stabbed in return, and Superman impales himself further to stab Doomsday through the back and kill him, same way the fight between Mordred and Arthur goes. Doomsday's unnatural creation also mirrors how Morgana created Mordred to some degree.

However, this movie is full to the brim with references to cartoons, mythology, religion novels, movies, pop culture, etc. Discovering this brings us one step closer to answering our question.

Superman is Christ, Moby Dick, King Arthur, Zorro, JFK, The White Rabbit/Bugs Bunny, the Classical hero.

Batman is Ahab, a vampire, Lancelot, Charles Foster Kane, Dr. Bill Hartford, John the Baptist, the tortured soul seeking redemption.

Doomsday is a fire-breathing dragon, King Kong, a falling meteorite, a nuclear holocaust, the mythical Hydra, Mordred, the monster inside oneself.

The Kryptonite spear is Excalibur, Longinus, Zeus' thunderbolt, Ahab's harpoon, Zorro's rapier, Alexander the Great's sword, dispassionate power and judgement.

Lex is The Joker, The Mad Hatter, Elmer Fudd, Oedipus, Icarus, Salome, the Tragic cynic.

This is 1/30th of the full post.

What is this.
sigh

It cost $100 million. And made $10 million.

It effectively destroyed the already teetering Carolco Pictures (which was coming off Total Recall, Terminator 2, Basic Instinct...and was where James Cameron was trying to make Spider-Man to show you where the company sat going into the production of its next set of BLOCKBUSTERS: Cutthroat Island, Cliffhanger, Stargate and Showgirls) and helped force MGM into what was a sale to hide an otherwise oncoming bankruptcy.

There was also a long time suggestion that until Pirates of the Caribbean that it effectively had killed off easily selling even mid-budget pirate-themed films to studios as well. Disney originally intended that movie to be a direct-to-video franchise starring Christopher Walken, but Gore Verbinski coming in off The Ring helped it play up its supernatural features (that's why the first film spends so much time on it) to say "it's not really a pirate movie" and Michael Eisner still tried to shut it down twice.

Roger Ebert gave Cutthroat Island three out of four stars as he couldn't really find any issues with it. He gave The Long Kiss Goodnight* two out of four stars for having no substance.

My favorite part in retrospect is looking at that list of titles up there in the parenthetical about Carolco films and thinking about how many of them had terrible just garbage sidescrollers, probably mostly published by Acclaim. Another company that drove itself into near bankruptcy with garbage decision making and absurd expansion. (Thanks to having some of the biggest licenses possible for the mid-late-90's in Mortal Kombat, Batman, WWF, Alien, The Simpsons plus the gaming hits of NBA Jam and Turok.) And then eventually actual bankruptcy when they lost all of those and the shit hit the fan in the PS2 generation. (Though arguably they were probably publishing better games per pound than the 16-bit days that made them rich.)

that movie itself was a darker-edgier remake of a 1958 film that until years after the goldblum one was considered somewhat of a joke but now regularly gets included as a "before its time" horror film and influenced all sorts of later directors, etc.

much like the goldblum film, the original had a god awful sequel which also had only one actor return from the previous movie

(it also has a weird third sequel that the Rifftrax guys suggested they couldn't make enough sense of to do it)

im on the can at work and reading about Acclaim hit me hard with nostalgia

you know renting the Simpsons for NES as a kid and having no clue what was going on but loving the vibe and the feeling there was a whole world out there to discover

was that submarine sim on the nes also from acclaim (silent service?)? and what about that game with the barbarian on the cover?

nostalgia on a monday, while taking a morning dump in between company meetings

It would be just typical of alt right scumbags to not give me their credit card number, expiry and security code

post them here or you're alt right and basically a nazi

Do we have a definition for alt right yet? For something used so often I find the usage varies quite a bit.

The only two movies i remember her in are Beattlejuice and Thelma and Louise.

The Fly

oh shit that's right, the fly. what a fucking creepy ass movie.

now here's a movie that needs a remake!! preferably as a dark comedy!

That movie was a remake actually.  The original "The Fly" was even creepier to me.

Sorry to hear it.

I just couldn’t stop laughing at the Amirox news that was posted. What’s happened to Gaf in the last two years is hilarious.

The original Fly movie from 1958 had a great ending, one that is both endearingly ridiculous yet haunting and pathetic. Also Vincent Price. Otherwise it's generic. I think it's worth seeing to help contrast Cronenberg's visuals with the classic b movie monster fare of then. Help getting a sense of how far we traveled in representations and what Cronenberg brought in terms of freshness (though he is obviously part of a continuum over many decades).

Either way, men definitely love trans women. It's kind of an open secret. If not, T porn wouldn't be as popular as it is. Your thing about hips is completely irrelevant to the topic. Getting laid as a trans woman is pretty easy. So their whole thing about "trans femme" (which sounds super cross dresser eugh) is wrong.
ex: Blaire White. They called her "Trap Mom"
Then there's Bailey Jay, who my friend who knows the Grooby boys named her "Line Trap"
They all prostituted at one time or they other.
What the fuck are you talking about? lmao

Is English your third language?

He's big on prostitutes. People should warn the authorities to stake out the red light districts. He's gonna murder one someday.

He's definitely making me reconsider not taking up the trade.

would you folks calm down.
Just because i deeply abhor the practice, does not mean I would actively go to red lite districts and do that shit.
And the fact I used they on both examples in the earlier post meant that yall should have known who calls Miss White "Trap Mom" and how Bailey Jay was first called "Line Trap". My English is fine its y'alls memory and forcing me to keep looking up shit i dont got time for causing all of these breakdowns in communication.

Novid have you won yet?  I own my body.  I have the legal documents.  The
governemnt's 10 days WERE up monday/tuesday.  I am off the hook for the
national debt, I have my sovreignty and very well 15 billion Canadian.  If
I have acheived what I set out to acheive than soon everyone we know's
belif structure will dispate and they will be in a position for the
actualization of evolution and we will hear the chains and fetters hit the
ground and the collective sobs of the pretend grownups as they experience
an ego death they are little prepared for.

No bills, no taxes, no horrible jobE untill you die.  Real freedom from the
monsters, the ideology of the slave class of pretend grown-ups, and the
soul sucking corporate disease.  You will be the grown up and your parents
will be the child.

Have you escaped yet?   I figured if anyone here found the way out
and had the courage to step through the door it would be you.  The door is
easy to open but I've watched many unable to step through.

I have not worked one single day this year for the corporate entity.  I
have so many plants outside I can't water em all.

I don't want to get my hopes up...but there already sky high.  The
beligerant foreign national corporation posing as the repsesenitve
government of the free and sovereign people of Canada will surcumb to
power.

I will be coming back within the next 3 to six months to retire, and begin
enjoying my golden years.

that movie itself was a darker-edgier remake of a 1958 film that until years after the goldblum one was considered somewhat of a joke but now regularly gets included as a "before its time" horror film and influenced all sorts of later directors, etc.

much like the goldblum film, the original had a god awful sequel which also had only one actor return from the previous movie

(it also has a weird third sequel that the Rifftrax guys suggested they couldn't make enough sense of to do it)

The Goldblum Fly sequel was fun actually. It subverts expectations making the Fly's son an antihero out for revenge against the evil men conducting experiments on him. It's even grosser than the first one, and in the end he gets his revenge, reverses the insect DNA and gets the girl!

Wasn’t he called the fly initially and then there was a copyright/trademark disput based on the movie?
