Liking anti-etiolate posts is a criminal conspiracy on the level of Uranium One, Seth Rich coverup and the Benji doxings.

You're putting too much thought in my like habits, dude. Not sure if you're trying to get rise out of me or whatever but I don't really have any reason to "attack" you nor am I doing so. If it bothers you or has sparked your curiosity then I dunno, deal with it? I don't feel like I've changed how I go about browsing here and those habits probably won't change. Not sure what you're expecting out of this odd exchange.

I can only advise you that I'm not making this all up.

And this is how I deal with the behavior. I eventually confront it. For most people, I would just piss on their little hissyfits.

BTW, choosing to not engage in cyclical discussions that don't go anywhere in this thread is not hiding. If I find a discussion here where I want to throw my two cents in, I will. I'm not obligated to do so if I don't give a shit about whatever it is y'all are upset about this time.
It's really not worth it to keep up with the cirklejerk, or heavens forfend, comment on it (though I can't help myself every once in a while).

I appreaciate the effort though, Rumbro. Someone's gotta do it. :doge

So why do you have enough care to read the posts and like attack posts, but not the care to really participate. The one foot in, one foot out behavior is odd.
Someone else point out the irony of saying this in this thread of all places. It's an edifice to pettiness, yet you somehow don't recognize this peculiar behaviour when it's directed towards you in (assuming for the moment it's true) increased frequency? I don't buy it.

voat became a hellspawn of nazi stuff, like the holocaust being a lie. Surprisingly, people called the mods out on it, and they removed the sticky instead of banning the users lol.
I have an acquaintance who used to read GAF.  When that forum was burning down I suggested that he join the Bore.

Immediately after that I thought "shit, he's going to go to the GAF thread and think that I'm a nazi."

I think this might be my favorite thread on the internet because of the sheer amount of people itt whose entire political worldview is informed by circlejerking about how shitty one dumb internet forum is. Imagine not only thinking RE is reflective of the real world in general, but also reactionarily basing all of your sociopolitical opinions on how these goofballs interpret the world. I swear, if some of you guys weren't so transparently dumb as fuck, you'd pass as master satirists.

Only that people are getting FIRED, and simply making an accusation against someone is grounds for ruining their career. This craziness isn't just exclusive to that fuckhole REE. It is a reflection for sure.

God Mr. Beaks. If it weren't for that wonderful beak i don't know what you'd do  :-*

EDIT: is it against forum rules if i use Mr Beaks image as my avatar since he posted a pic here? I need that beak as my avatar.

Alt right is just a rebranding effort, it doesn't have a cohesive ideology. But people within that sphere tend to be white nationalists/supremacists, misogynists, antisemites, "traditionalists", and bigots of various stripes. You can be a hardcore conservative Christian (evangelical, Catholic, Orthodox, doesnt really matter), neopagan, Hindu or whatever. They're not all fascists - many are more libertarian/ancap - but fascism is prominent. The primary uniting factor if anything is resentment.

Fascism itself is a broad, reactionary ideology that positions itself as a "radical centrist/third way", though most of everyone else would call it extremely far right. Mussolini was influenced by anarchism (paging kristoffer) and specifically syndicalism, believing that the economy had to be restructured away from pure capitalist bourgeois control into a more "organic" system where people of all classes worked together under the guiding hand of the state for the good of the nation. They idolized action, violence, and technology.

Hitler went full-on crazy with it by slapping a racial element on top, making it all about Aryanism. The idea of the fascist variant of "national socialism" is thus to defend and propagate a particular race with the power of the state, yanking control of the economy away from "cosmopolitan" elites who are only in it for themselves and have no roots in the nation (for Hitler, this meant Jews; these days its "the swamp"/"globalists"/basically Jews). This is why Nazis consider themselves "socialists" while literally no other socialists do and, in fact, most socialists see fascism as a final protection of the bourgeoisie in response to the rising power of the left. I think you can see the parallels to that fairly easily in people like the Mercers.

It seems many of the Alt-Right are Libertarians. It's just what we all knew anyway. It is anyone who has an opinion they disagree with. lol

The worst thing about that whole thread was, actually, that atrocious Venn diagram.
Who in the Alt-Right is a libertarian? Give me an example.
http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2016/03/29/an-establishment-conservatives-guide-to-the-alt-right/
ctrl-F you helpless loser.

oh that Milo article.

This article basically presents the Alt-Right as a loose association of groups spanning from shiposters on 4chan on one side to white supremacists on the other. In fact Milo claims the white supremacist element is just the fringes.

of course that isn't how Alt-Right is referred to now. It basically means white nationalist, or pretty much Nazi as far as ERA members go. So this is why I was confused by the post. Actually it doesn't seem like this is what sphagnum was saying in that post...

Because it increased. As in, like Rumbler butthurt here, he looks down upon this thread but constantly reads it for supporting cheap shots.

It's a peculiar behavior.

If you disagreed with me then you could express why you disagree. But you're hiding in the back for some reason.

Counterpoint: He has Peter Thiel's ear and neither you nor I do!
The grant he received is really rather small. Yarvin has Thiel's ear about as much as Farrakhan had Obama's.

Obama, the noted Terrorist Pal-Arounder? I think you fail to see how deep the connections go. Let me introduce you to the wonderful art of David Dees.

Actually it doesn't seem like this is what sphagnum was saying in that post...

Yeah, I'm a stickler for ideological accuracy. It stems from me constantly having to explain that no I don't like Stalin.

Anyway, the reason I picked up on libertarian is becuase as far as political philosophies go, it doesn't seem well suited to a white supremacist worldview. Libertarianism is very close to classical liberalism. A philosophy with an emphasis on the freedom of the individual and limited government doesn't seem well suited to the creation of a white ethno state.

That's why it seemed odd to me.

Sign the political left has lost its iron grip on comedy: Attacks alt-right by mocking basic boy Richard Spencer. Ignores all the dudes who want to be holy robot kings that go by their blogger name.

Remember how the Southern Strategy picked up on white resentment over civil rights by hiding it in "small government"/cut taxes rhetoric? Same basis. Libertarianism is an ideology that appeals primarily to middle class and higher up white dudes because it accords with what they want in life, which is property for themselves and FYGM for everyone else. Mix in some underlying racial animosity and you can see how suddenly "the blacks are taking my tax money, the Jews are controlling the Federal Reserve!" creeps in.

Spaghnum is an interesting fella. He is an admitted commie, yet he semi-regularly posts here and doesn't seem to hate us.

Yes, this is an unfortunate strand that keeps popping up, particularly hidden in anti-Zionism. But thankfully it's not the basis of communist belief so it's easy to counter. Even the Stalinists don't usually defend the "rootless cosmopolitan" stuff in my experience.
