he should really be banned more for his wikiskim history, apartheid was more of a rear guard action to protect the existing white status than it was the primary method of land expropriation, even with the forced migrations (a lot of that was aimed at controlling the black population rather than seizing valuable land)

It's an evolution of these posters slowly decaying the meaning of the term "trolling" when they were on GAF. It's an accusation that you don't actually mean what you're arguing you're just trying to set people off for laughs or hate site cred or whatever.

And it's well known that you're doing this because literally nobody could actually hold those positions, it's figuratively literally impossible, so by posting them you're not in good faith presenting an actual counterargument to their arguments you're simply and deliberately trying to erode the standards of the community for nefarious ends.

My favorite GAF ban for "trolling" was when I was making an argument for an absolutist freedom of speech position on something. "Your trolling is not funny." It then got changed from a month ban to expiring the next day randomly because I assume some other mod came along who was aware I was a known libertarian/anarchist with radical (especially for GAF) free speech positions and like ten years worth of drivel posted there as supporting evidence of my criminal behavior.
