I often don't understand thier actor complaints. Like Natalie Portman was good in Annihlation. She is usually good. So is Leo who they've also hated on.

I hope all the Max Reeebos that gave them shit for not liking Ghostbusters have seen this movie.

No. But they will watch this video and proclaim RLM has now gone fully nazi for making fun of the historic social movement that is Disney's™ Black Panther™ (3D glasses must be bought separate).

I'm too lazy to search the shithole right now - has anyone actually dared to post this on REEEE OT?

Like Jay said comparing a R rated $40 million dollar sci fi film vs a PG 13 $200+ million dollar blockbuster seems off. It just reeks of poorly thought out whataboutism.

I definitely was like "oh no so many nerds are going to talk about DOG WHISTLING" during the opening of that video only for them to wrap it around and point out the hypocrisy of the same nerds who completely ignore movies being made with diversity and inclusion because they aren't part of a big franchise with explosions and jokes every 3 minutes.

Not even that, because as they pointed out Suicide Squad had a somewhat diverse cast too yet that wasn't really a major point of discussion. I'm all for more diversity but it is indeed hard not to agree the narrative seems to be amped up for only very select titles and not to suspect it's being fed by a marketing in service of the ever increasing control by fewer hands of the collective mindshare / cultural market which is certainly a form of impoverishment of a certain diversity.

I thought the episode was gonna be bad at first because the videos they were watching were kind of depressing but it got so good man. I think they eventually realized that the episode isn't going to turn out good so they decided to cut the first part to just half an hour of good content and watched that disaster of a movie. RLM never disappoints.

That Don Beveridge part reminded me of the Impractical Jokers. Where the loser is forced to speak in front of a group of people and fake their way through it.

JL was ok. Enjoyable enough fluff, which is all I ask for out of comic book movies, and considering the absolute dogshit that came before, it was a pleasant surprise.

I can tolerate disasters like BvS as long as they have something interesting in them, I can tolerate schlock but what I can't tolerate is generic, bland crap that make no impact on me whatsover. Justice League wasn't just bad but it has been Disney-fied which is the worst offense I can imagine in movies nowadays. It's forgettable and mindnumbingly boring, I should have just listened the RLM commentantary without watching movie, I think that piece of crap ruined my experience.

Oh btw, for anyone that wants to listen to it here it is: https://redlettermedia.bandcamp.com/track/justice-league-commentary-track Don't be me, don't watch the movie at the same time.

The Don Beveridge segment was legit hilarious. It's better than 90% of the stuff they watch on the Wheel of the Worst.

This is the only way I'm watching Justice League. That way I can get one of my co-workers off my back about watching it. He's one of those dumb dumbs that thinks every superhero movie is the best thing ever and doesn't understand why I don't like them. He told told me I must not be into action movies. I said I liked Fury Road. He said well that figures you just like boring action movies.

I was watching surviving edged weapons I had this feeling of deja vu. It turns out I watched that as a training video when I was a correctional officer in Arizona back in the 90s. Unfortunately they edited out all the funnier bits where people were talking to each other with their shity Wisconsin accents when I watched it the first time. I definitely would have picked up on that because I'm from Wisconsin. So I don't think there's going to be any video that surpasses that for me.

And they're totally on point with the whole "oh my God everything can kill me." You want to know why law enforcement is like a nervous Barney Fife? Watch this video!
One training day was devoted to watching security videos of inmates and officers getting killed in various ways. Not reenactors but the actual thing. Nothing like seeing a officer in a pool blood and the sergeant telling you if you ever let your guard down this is what happens.

I'm just happy I can watch this video now and laugh my ass off.

Mike knows he's embarrassing himself every time he's talking about ghosts so he's trying to rationalize it. He fails at it every time in very subtle but funny ways.

Quote from: Roger Ebert
The day may come when Freddy Got Fingered is seen as a milestone of neo-surrealism.
Quote from: Roger Ebert
Seeing Tom Green reminded me, as how could it not, of his movie Freddy Got Fingered, which was so poorly received by the film critics that it received only one lonely, apologetic positive review on the Tomatometer. I gave it—let's see—zero stars. Bad movie, especially the scene where Green was whirling the newborn infant around his head by its umbilical cord. But the thing is, I remember Freddy Got Fingered more than a year later. I refer to it sometimes. It is a milestone. And for all its sins, it was at least an ambitious movie, a go-for-broke attempt to accomplish something. It failed, but it has not left me convinced that Tom Green doesn't have good work in him. Anyone with his nerve and total lack of taste is sooner or later going to make a movie worth seeing.
