It's not good either. That scene where they are hiding behind lab tables in 10 x 20 room is hilariously awful. It was straight out of the 80's.

I kinda assumed they'd given up on the show's narrative and were just going to keep casually mentioning the upcoming wedding forever.

I was hoping they would drop it completely as if it never happen.  Then a few months later towards the end of one of their normal episodes, have Mike casually ask "Hey Jay, remember that time you fell in love with and almost married Mr. Plinkett"?

Jay: No, i don't remember that at all.
Mike: Yeah me neither.

I was really confused during that entire fight. How no one seems to be able to stop these kids who seemingly have no real skills is really confusing.

Still I've seen worse. These movies are the definition of a shrug.

God that whole series. At the end of #2 they repel an attack from the bad guys who have to run away, and then stay in the same place. I'm like, any bad organization that isn't COMPLETELY incompetent would just send reinforcements as the dumb fucks decided to stay in the same place.

Quote
Okay Jay/Rich this is the rough edit. Insert the final trailer after it's uploaded this Sunday or Monday (You'll see the spot for it) This way we can have the reaction video out before everyone else. Our reactions will probably match up to the trailer as these SW trailers are pretty boilerplate and predictable at this point. Remember DO NOT POST THIS anytime before the official release of the trailer. We'll look really stupid. Also, Rich - a collection agency keeps calling my phone looking for you. They sounded pretty mad. Made some comments about "breaking your legs" - which seemed a little unusual for collections? Your gambling habit hasn't resurfaced again has it? If so we need to have a talk. DO NOT borrow money from Jimmy "the leg breaker" Malone anymore. Okay, talk with you guys soon. - Mike

Saw the second Divergent film with two cute girls. I went because they wanted me to go, and they offered nips (of the alcoholic nature). I needed all the nips for that mellodramatic YA bullshit. Never again. At a certain point I was glancing at the screen sideways because I just wanted to look away from the screen for a couple of minutes out of sheer boredom.

Not a huge fan of a whole episode dedicated for a skit (the ones opening Half in the Bag are short and OK though, helps that Mike is a genuinely funny guy) but compared to the Nostalgia Critic it's premium quality.

I've rewatched the prequel reviews over the last couple days, and I have to say, I think the Episode 3 one is the best.

- Stupid Kid Han Solo
- "Where would you rape the Millenium Falcon anyways? ...RIGHT THERE, I'VE DONE IT"
- Commander Nefarious, Captain Imabadguy, and Admiral Bonetopick
- "Mmm... I like to fuck my cat."
- "Like when Yoda is on Kashyyyk, is he like 'Hey... wait a minute... Palpatine's behind it all!'"
- PALPATINE'S BEHIND IT ALL
- "The entire Senate is filled with stupid idiots." <picture of the US Senate>
- Kneeling before Monster Mash and pledging loyalty to the graveyard smash
- Great filmmaking comparison between the boringness of Anakin telling Mace that Palpatine is a Sith, and the excitement of Star Trek 09

I also really dig his suggested improvements and how the Clone War really should have went down. I dunno, RotS is the best of the prequels but it surprisingly has the most material for a takedown review.

I dunno if I'd put it over the Phantom Menace. PM issues aside, it was an "alright" film that should've set the "tone" for the prequel with the political backstabbing being the fore-front. From what I recall (and I am not watching the prequels ever again) it was there in the background and then SURPRISE THE SENATOR IS A SITHLORD! :doge
