Regardless of how you feel it handled elements from the original show (which was far from perfect due to network tampering anyways), there's undeniable moments of brilliance in The Return. Certainly enough for an entertaining video discussion!

And I wouldn't be so sure they both liked it, even though they did warn everyone before The Return came out that it would be more Fire Walk with Me than the network show, and they were obviously right.

I gotta say, I love Mike but his voice acting is very "I'm doing a silly voice now," and/or maybe the issue is that he falls into the same voices all the time (cat = Plinkett)

but I am actually impressed with Rich in that song, he sounds like a legit cartoon character!

Mike can be stirred to quick action when it's something he's passionate about, and that's pretty much exclusively TNG these days.

For non-TNG content the best you can hope for is the TLJ review timescale (<1 year.) But that's *best case.*

What is there to say about Rise that hasn't already been said? Finding the answer to that question takes time I'm sure.
