Because past is:

A) To prequel like even when is good.

B) if they do their own thing people will inevitably compare it with the Old Republic stuff, they can barely escape with the EU influence with the current stuff.

C) if they do their own thing its probably going to be terrible.

I prefer if they just went full Old Republic given it has elements of both originals and prequels in aesthetics and they can do everything they want. I started playing Old Republic last week and I’m impressed by some of designs.

I first watched it in August 2016 and I had already forgotten most of the scenes...

Which is unfortunate cause that vid reminded me how pretty some of those shots were. That matte painting with the two moving planets in the sky is wonderful.

I also never really liked the costumes in 2-6, but I did think they were a significant step up over TMP's.

They mentioned on their Patreon that we're getting two BotW's in short order, but I'm surprised it's the... surprise Black Spine Edition first and not the MaCauCau Plinketto episode.

Actually the latter has been in production for like two months lol. I wonder how much editing and SFX work they're putting into it.
