Cyberpunk is gonna be one of those things they chip at and chip at until release and then shame you for wanting to buy it. First no options for non-binary characters, then the “transphobic” tweet. Two very uneventful things that they’ve managed to blow up. Game still has at least 1.5 years of dev time. This is going to get ugly.

fallout 4 (and by extension cyberpunk 2077) are RPGs for people who don't actually play RPGs but want to pretend that they are not absolute fucking choads that need to be told where to go, what to do and how to play the game. they are made for the AAA crowd that can only play games that fit whatever the current zeitgeist is.

actual character stats and attributes? actual skill checks? actual dialogue trees? actual choice and consequence? what are these things? it is a mystery.

not to mention that CDPR literally removed classes from the tabletop RPG because they are shit-tier devs and couldn't figure out how to make classes that don't shoot people and/or are afraid of making classes that don't fit into the bethesda-tier gameplay they've created. they are utterly devoid of any talent beyond graphic design and the proof is in the continual decline between their releases. Witcher 3 is more casualized and linear than W2, which is more casualized and linear than W1... These are absolute facts.

They also changed how cyberpsychosis works.. in the TT game if you take too many implants your mind gets fucked up and your character is essentially done and it is game over for them... CDPR of course stated that they can't do this because game overs hurt little johnny's feelings.

meanwhile a ten man dev team can create age of decadence which allows true role playing and allows you play as a non combat character and still have multiple ways to finish or fail quests. has actual choice and consequences and isn't afraid to say you fucked up and the game is over.

CDPR shills deserve the rope.

The game looks good but it looks like every game I have already played before. Hopefully the difference is in how well everything works together with narrative and gameplay.

Otherwise it looks like it could probably run on a one x or ps4 pro, not really sure what was screaming next gen about the demo.

All that other shit niccas is in here wolfing in relation to the language/choice of words I could give a fuck about.

I hope there are sex cutscenes showing the entire act like TW3...

It looks to just be a handful of posters (Crossing Eden, Laiza, Red Mercury etc...) hi-jacking the thread for puritanical reasons. Problem is, those posters are largely protected and loud, so they will have an outsized impact on how the thread's discussion proceeds. Just banning Crossing Eden alone would improve the discussion in the thread ten fold.

This is going to continue to happen until the mods stop protecting certain posters.
