It's a mode where you molest clearly uncomfortable underage girls. Let's save the ree mocking for other shit.
Underage girls with tits bigger than their heads and magical girl transformations.
Yeah, this is not going to make want to grope girls in the subway.
TBH I don't think many people care that this extra mode is being removed and are more pissed that Sony has decided to up and change their policy out of the blue like this. Again, Toejam & Earl is also affected by this new policy, but those guys haven't said what that was yet.
Is a trashy mode, sure, but if stuff like Diorama and character customization is okay (that can be way more trashier than affection mode) feels like corporate hypocrisy and a last minute decision (again). Is not only scummy but is a shallow gesture that just screws Xseed, not because anyone care about groping impossibly endowed magical ninja teenagers.
Apparently their issue is with the touching elements. That mode is nothing but the character standing there, telling you no, while you slap and grope them. Waiting for XSeed Tom to come out and defend this.
Being honest, Tom is nuts but he was not wrong about censorship waiting for any excuse to come back. Is depressing that he is probably one of the last outspoken persons about this stuff.
I agree, but he doesn't go about it saying things in the right way. At all.
Edited my post to show a bit more info. It still doesn't make sense when they allowed PBS to be released with this mode intact.
Just wait until the game comes out and people realize it kinda sucks- re-uses almost everything from Estival Versus, has ultra-short stages, less playable characters, less super moves, and no
real extra game modes like the other versions have had. They'll forget all about this censorship stuff.
