CGPGrey did a video called "Rules for Rulers". I encourage you watch it. It's pure political science on systems of governance and it explains why Democracy works better than other systems. It should become more obvious to you why you should vote when you learn the truth about political power. Some may call the viewpoint expressed cynical or pessimistic, but it rings very true to life.
Also because people marched, protested, bled and died to give everybody in this country the right to vote and I'd be spitting on their efforts by not voting.
People who are able to vote and don't are not good citizens.
It's my civic duty. Plus I want to actually make a difference, and voting is the easiest and most practical way if doing it.
