Lol ever since this dude snaked his way into the ears of unsuspecting victims such as myself I have never called him anything but what you just did.
This is the "state's rights" argument in anime form.

Fuck cops and fuck Taco Bell
Yeah. Although i bet the "gun" was in reality some chocolate bar...
Vallejo Police said the firearm, which was recovered after the shooting, was a 40 caliber handgun that was loaded with an extended magazine. It had been reported stolen from Oregon.
He was sleeping before they arrived and murdered him
Right, he was asleep minding his own business
Everyone that dies was sleeping before they were killed, from a certain point of view.
Cops lie to make their version of events portray them in the best possible light - like OPs on Era do - but "unresponsive" generally means an attempt was made to elicit a response, rather than the cops tip toed up for a stealth kill
Incelsior saysQuoteYeah I hear yaMurder him instead amirite? These people are supposed to be trained professionalsWhat would you have liked them to do? Run away? Beg for him to not shoot at them? Shoot the rearview mirror so the bullet ricochets and knocks the gun out of his hand? They are trained professionals, after all.

Six police officers opened fire at McCoy for about four seconds.
Police tried to perform CPR, but McCoy was declared dead at the scene.Vallejo Police officials did not confirm the identity of the shooting victim, or how many times officers fired into the car, but David Harrison told the Los Angeles Times that McCoy, an aspiring rapper who went by the name Willie Bo, was his cousin.
Like, I don't know what went down, and we're gonna have to wait for whatever investigation that covers this to find out the truth, but the thread on era is already wildly divergent from the reported facts behind the clickbait headline
We all know that the only time to call the cops is when you find a screwdriver in a Chinese shower.
I remember playing Swat 4 and getting penalized if I shot armed suspects who didn't present a clear danger (aiming the weapon). Because that was against the rules of engagement. But, of course, there never were rules for cops in real life.

But I dont exactly feel comfortable just saying that the guy deserved be shoot by 6 cops for 4 seconds even if he was a scumbag and was planning something.
dude fell asleep with a gun in his lap he was begging for the Darwin Award

But I dont exactly feel comfortable just saying that the guy deserved be shoot by 6 cops for 4 seconds even if he was a scumbag and was planning something.Nobody 'deserves' to get lit up like that, but US firearms legislation doesn't exactly help the militarisation of police forces that is ultimately why law enforcement are quick to respond with shooting first. But a dude passed out in a drive thru with a stolen illegally after-market modded .40 cal in his lap is a different scenario to someone asleep just minding their own business, and its pretty disingenuous to portray that situation as what was reported.

JadedWriter some of your posts here would be considered bannable. Be careful.
Damn I had no idea admitting my ignorance and apologizing for that would be a bannable offense. That whole topic is pretty much a discussion that I don't think I have the right language for and I honestly wasn't trying to be offensive or dehumanizing regarding it.
Not the apologizing, I meant the initial posts. Since you apologized and were willing to learn and discuss, I didn't report you. Just wanted to let you know

Responses in this thread piss me off. I have no idea what kind of neighborhood this is but what he did totally tracks. When I was younger and I was worried about the environment, I’d take a nap with a knife in my lap just in case. 1. He went to a Taco Bell parking lot because it had enough activity to at least be kind of safe. Better than napping in somewhere totally isolated. Less likely to get robbed.2. He kept the gun on his lap to deter anybody who thought about being stupid. 3. He woke up disoriented. Saw police. Thought oh s—t. Put the gun away because that really would be the first logical thought...Why the officers didn’t tap on the glass or try to wake him is blowing my mind. Even a bull horn at close distance with the lights would’ve worked. Pisses me off. He wasn’t stupid...it’s just street logic. Unfortunately, that can get you killed apparently. I’m honestly trying to think of another way he could’ve handled it if he didn’t have money for a hotel and was too tired to drive any further. Hell, even the manager could’ve told him to move on since he clearly wasn’t a threat asleep.

Next time I'm unemployed and posting on the internet all day, I'm going to call myself an aspiring freelance writer.

Which honestly shouldn't be too hard.
You know what the three most heinous crimes are. Murder, rape, and sitting with a gun at a drivethru.
Cops probably ran his plates and realized it was a garbage human waste of oxygen and decided to save the taxpayer some money. Good on them.
