Fuck off with your "Jacob the Jeweler“ shit. Fuck right off with that.
jacob the jeweler huh? got anything else you want to share?
In the early 1990s his clientele and business grew, and Arabo became known as “Jacob the Jeweler,” the moniker first appearing in rap songs by Jay-Z, Nas and other rappers.
I ate at Chick-Fil-A just the other day. Was pretty good.

I’d never heard of him. But the name sounded so ridiculous that I assumed you didn’t make it up and looked him up (hence why I didn’t react to that part of your post). Jews were stereotypically jewelers so the name is actively playing off a stereotype (Kirblar and I make brief mention of why that was earlier in this thread). If you didn’t know the person, it sounds like you’re saying something like “jewy-jewison”, but honestly even looking him up it’s just an extremely odd choice and shows how unfamiliar you are with Jewish stereotypes.

It was a BK chicken sandwich. U lose bro
You need to get your life dawg
I've never identified with a bitch more in my life
BK sent me a bunch of coupons in the mail. I went to one last week and used a 2 for 1 chicken sandwich coupon. They were nothing but trash. I used to love those things as a kid, but apparently they have seriously dropped in quality since the 90s. The chicken was overcooked and awful. The lettuce was wilted. The bun was weirdly sweet. Not even mayo could save it. It was worse than the chicken sandwich you can get at 7/11 for a dollar.
Bitches, I got a FUCKIN JOB. Even better IT’S FOR SOMEONE EVIL!!
Quote from: clothedmacuser on April 02, 2018, 10:30:44 PMOk, messofanego gets to give marriage advice three times before I start fucking with him. 3 strikes. as if you need to be married for that, if there is anything I have learned from GAF and Ree, it's that I can shit post about anything. Here messofanego is explaining how much you are allowed to beat your wifeQuote"The Quran specifies a passage, Fadribuhunne, that talks about husbands beating their wives . We've got to reform our approach to this scripture."Ok, this is about 4:34 and 38:44. There are multiple meanings of the word used for beat. Some translations say it's to kick them out, as a response to a wife being unfaithful (there already is a punishment for adultery in the Quran for adulterer and adulteress so hitting someone further is kind of overkill) and this is the last resort after advising them, not having sex with them, and then kicking them out or hitting as some scholars say. Now I'm sure there are men who misinterpret this passage to beat their wives carte blanche even though in all the translations that use the Arabic word to mean beat, it's to use a twig (that one Arabic people brush teeth with) and it's never to cause actual harm. When muslim husbands have been beating their wives using these passages as free will, adultery or not, and which causes actual harm and is repetitive, they are obviously wrong and sadly it's probably all too common in certain muslim communities that are more misogynistic. https://www.neogaf.com/threads/real-time-with-bill-maher-maajid-nawaz-interview.1396662/page-3#post-241695936

ResetERA, I have a confession to make. This is really difficult, and I know I'm know I'm going to be judged for it. I'm going to spill my emotions and thoughts out, because this really hits close to home with what I've been going through for years now.I think I might be racist. And specifically an orientalist Japanophile with an Asian fetish. And have been and not been able to suppress or stop it for the past decade. I feel absolutely empty inside when I don't indulge in it. When I don't allow myself to be a weeaboo I feel miserable and empty. From my years of experience reading Asian American blogs, forums, social media, communities, being an Asian fetishist is so offensive it's akin to calling Asian people a racial slur, or worse. The same with being a Japanophile or Asiaphile. But as far as I can tell, all of those things are words that describe me.I'm such a weeaboo, that when I watch Jpop music videos, or Japanese cinema, or Korean cinema, I end up attracted to lots and lots of the characters. I end up more attracted to them way more than I ever have a Hollywood actress or American singer.I don't seem to have any choice in this. I don't know why it happens. I wish it didn't. I know there's a word for it, and it's called Asian fetishism and racism. I talked to several therapists about it, and they dismissed it out of hand, and told me not to care so much what others think. But, it's offensive. I'm pretty sure the fact I fantasize about Jpop musicians in a way I almost never would about someone from my own country I'm pretty sure makes me an Asian fetishist and a racist. That it's offensive, and I don't know what to do about it. I've been going through this for a decade now. And I'm still a weeaboo.I'm also biased against Hollywood, I feel like I have to force myself to watch more Hollywood movies, so that I will be more open minded and balanced, and less of a weeaboo or Asiaphile. I wish Hollywood movies had more Asian representation, but for selfish reasons. I wish there were more Asian people in these movies and shows, so they would be more like my Korean and Japanese dramas. I feel so proud of myself for liking American or Western things like My Little Pony, Care Bears, Steven Universe, Star Wars, and stuff, because it means I'm not being so much of a orientalist. Something that make me less of a weeb.To be honest with you, I don't care that much about Isle of Dogs, good or bad. It looks maybe cute? I don't know or care about this movie enough to defend it. Or even want to look much into it more. I'm too much of an orientalist for that. Instead of bother, I'd rather just go find another Korean movie to watch, there are thousands I haven't seen. Even thinking about it feels like wasted energy. But the subject of Orientalism, Asian fetishism, Asiaphilia, Japanophilia, and being a weeaboo, is a subject that interests me. Because it is alive and well, in me. And has been for a long time and I haven't been able to cure it.Am I really racist? And if so, what do I do about these problematic feelings? Therapists have been useless and dismissive. They told me things like, if someone is offended by your interest in Japanese culture or "Japanophilia", that's their problem. They don't feel like this is an issue that needs resolving. But I know for a fact that Asian fetishism is something I've been struggling with for a long time. The fact that I am much more likely to feel physical attraction to a Jrock musician than an American one definitely means I am an Asian fetish, something considered extremely problematic and racist towards Asian people. This is also why I've turned so much to fixating over 2D character, anime and video game characters and having crushes on them or "waifus" and "hasubandos" instead of filling the void and loneliness with real people. I feel like once someone figures out I'm an Asian fetishist, they'll think I'm a gross fetishist, reject me, and push me out of their life. So I see solace in crushing on 2D characters. 2D characters won't tell me "you're a gross Asian fetishist racist, stay away from me." Video game and anime characters don't care that I've never found a white American celebrity as attractive as Bou from Ancafe.

Perhaps for you personally this could be the result of discomfort with American culture from the perspective of its gender roles and the way characters similar to you are portrayed in media? That you feel comfortable expressing yourself in a manner encouraged by Japanese and Korean media that is derided by American media, perhaps even that this media was something important to you which helped you except yourself. These feelings may have become overgeneralized, and that could be why you feel the way you do. You may also feel a bitterness towards American culture if you suffered negative experiences due to that country's strict gender roles and transphobia.Growing up, I definitely had a preference for Japanese media because I felt it was less antagonistic towards me. There were characters I could relate to - androgynous and sexually fluid characters who aren't depraved or pathetic! Wow, I'm not the villain or laughing stock for once? American media always felt like it was attacking me, and any proximity or way I had to relate with it was usually negative. Doesn't mean that a lot of Japanese media isn't problematic in its own way, just that it wasn't problematic in the specific way that affected me most. Along this note, I think this sort of experience is where the "catgirl" cluster of trans people online rises from.I think the important thing is to remember that people of any culture are individuals, and that you can recognize that another culture has been positively impactful on you without treating the people of that culture reductively and without whitewashing away the very real social problems that other cultures have as well.

To be fair it is a pretty random reference. Of all the famous Jews in the world, Jacob The Jeweler is probably not in the top 3000. But the people just assuming something was racist because they assumed it HAS to be racist and very half heartedly backing down once being educated is lol. Then again, there was a post in the wrestling thread where someone assumed that WWE changing Shinsuke Nakamura's font color from red to yellow was to scream at the audience he's SUPER DUPER ASIAN, and he thought he had the high ground of calling someone racist in this situation. Because you know, yellow = Asian.

Hell, I don't think that GTA sent in Miami even had a single orthodox Jew in it, which is bullshit.
As a non Jewish Polish born man with a grandfather that was in a concentration camp I would appreciate it if Jewish people would stop claiming the holocaust was solely against the Jewish people.
