God of Dad is gaming press and "mature" gamer catnip. It looks great and is super serious, evoking a super serious story full of super serious and mature storytelling that's serious.

I think it looks like super shit thats up it's own ass. I'll get it though, because it does look pretty and I like to have my "graphics" games for my 4k tv. But the game looks like such pretentious drivel that it's funny. It looks like it's following every "this is what we think mature please take us serious gaming" story cliche in the book. Made worse by the fact that it stars the very same Kratos that was the pos character that basically felt like a bottom of the barrel 90s comic anti-hero.
