While I personally don’t agree with what is going on and what discussions I’ve had with had with people and admin team meant that this was our only choice on the table left. It it was dealt by Steam Mods and Discord Mods who I still feel are trying to help and have been really supportive. It’s a bit of a slap in the face and feels bit like déjŕ vu right now but I know Steam and all the rest of you will help us in this thread.
This is still the same home and people you have come to known over the years and I think many of you would still like to keep it that way. I think for the benefit of the thread and the community around it is that we don’t bring up the previous issue to help this thread prosper.

As a PC exclusive player at this point in my life - I'm just glad this thread is back, and I don't care what it's called. Still feels like home to me. The name change seems to have already broadened discussion a bit, and should dissuade shit-posting from non-regulars.

People in the Steam Discord are getting warnings on their resetera accounts that they will be permanently banned if they question moderators again.This includes users who never posted anything in the steam thread.

I never understood the "no free email" thing on GAF or RE. How many normal people have a paid email? If you don't have a free one it's either from work or school, so you're limited by a brief window of schooling or being a fucking weirdo who signs up for things with their work email.
