Because I am suffocated in a white guilt shithole every day, I don't need it online.

I forgave "him" at the time and we're still in touch but sometimes I see "him" putting on the act and I can't help but shake my head. It's like dude you're a 30 something year old bald white dude pretending to be a young hip Star Wars connaisseur as famous as RedLetterMedia. Give it a rest already.
Is... is that how you are supposed to use a tube sock to beat off? I thought the sock was for, like, blowing your load into so it doesnt get everywhere, not to be used like a glove. Wouldn't that just give your dick a carpet burn?according to my tag, im like the target audience for this, and yet i dont get it at all.

Little Bobby looks up people to block in his spare time because his feelings are easily hurt and it makes him feel taller than five feet. Sad!
I really played myself posting a Waypoint article when I've hit the max number of people I'm allowed to have on my ignore list. Fun fact, it's 1000.(Image removed from quote.)There are definitely more than 1000 people on Era who are performatively dismissive of social commentary or any kind of academic criticism of games. I'm not here to engage with those people, so it would be nice to be able to ignore them all.
I'd go for the 2 mil. Feel like my earning potential the rest of my life is quite a bit more than the 3 mil difference, but not if I was known as a horse cocksucker.

https://twitter.com/bobbyrobertspdx/status/987908441648709637You might wanna buckle up, baby.Jesus, I can't get over the level of SMUG-DOUCHE on this guy's Twitter. Anyway, that's enough of Robby Boberts. Back to forgetting about him again.
When others tell me they didn't like it, and they site the story, it makes me think if there's possibly a disconnect between the individual and compassion for humanity. I'm not saying people aren't compassionate, but in terms of being in a place in their life right now where they can't feel the non-fictional tragedy this movie is presenting. Maybe because these people have personal conflict that they can't relate. And hey, I'm white so it would be wrong for me to say I 'feel the pain', but there is a powerful impact to a superhero movie taking a second to tell the audience, "yeah we're using a real-world tragic scenario that is still a problem in the world", and asking others to to feel that in order to understand the motivations behind nearly everyone.
there's possibly a disconnect between the individual and compassion for humanity.

Bobby really needs to let his obsession with RLM go. It has long since gotten sad. They are mildly successful Youtube movie critics from Wisconsin for god sake
Black panther is a fun movie, but jesus @ these delusional turds. It's just a fucking movie, even if it has some sort of underlining current societal parallels. IT'S. A. FUCKING. COMIC. BOOK. MOVIE.

This is the biggest problem I had with the movie, Killmonger turns up and has the audience going "Yeah, fuck yeah. This guy's got a point".
The real test comes when one of the stars of Black Panther does something that fails the purity tests.
Killmonger does have a point, saying that is not an endorsement of everything he says.I mean that's pretty much the point of the plot; do the part he has a good point on without all the killing he wanted. In that sense, saying "he has a point" as a criticism of the movie is stupid.
He revolutionized Jewish cooking.

uh Magneto?
Killmonger was such a lazily written character. Oh, I guess he had a rough upbringing with white cops constantly harassing him? But I guess they'd have to when he was a teen, cause he likely spent most of his 20s in the military?Like, I just can't connect the dots with him. He doesn't seem very smart either, with the entirety of his plan being "Oh, i'll do this spoiler thing to fall in the good graces of the Wakandians."Maybe one of the worst marvel villains to date. Even Ivan Vanko's motives were more clear.

QuotePlayco Armboy said:↑You know, I always wonder why Black Panther is the movie most people make 'it's overrated!!!' threads about, and not say Thor: Ragnarok or Spider-Man: Homecoming despite those also getting great reviews.Because Thor: Ragnarok and Spider-man: Homecoming both have funny moments and don't take themselves as seriously as Black Panther? Shit, Thor: Ragnarok as a WHOLE was a MASSIVE improvement over the previous two Thor outings (because they jettison'd Natalie Portman and made it into a comedy instead of YE OLDE ASGARDE SUPER SERIOUS WORLD DESTRUCTION SHIT. The Ragnarok is still super serious, but not the MAIN focus. Thor's trying to prevent it, that's it. Comedy comes along for the ride and improves that). I mean compare this or the Thor/Hulk fight "HEY HE'S A WORK BUDDY!" *Loki looking embarassed* "What does he mean?" "...Nothing. I don't know. Some nonsense!" *Thor gets Avenger-beatened like Loki did in the first, Loki visibly enjoying this as Karma* to Black Panther's "How do you think ya'll got this?"Black Panther doesn't have moments like these where you laugh because of the absurdity. It takes itself very seriously and wraps itself in black trappings because that's what the director wanted. The problem is: The writers failed to make it "worthwhile"/entertaining with poor villian motivations and not justifying the nations isolation and other shit to make the audience go "ok, I can relate with that."The only person you can relate with is Killmonger (in a sense) and even then his motivation comes back to that failing to explain Wakanda's hidden status for so long.(Also side-note: Chris Hemsworth really enjoyed working on Ragnarok because 1: He got to cut his long-hair and 2: He enjoyed working on a comedy instead of a super-serious comic-book for once along with the director. IIRC he's stated he'd extend his contract if solo Thors were like Ragnarok)
Let them fucking die.

The online counter-obsession with people trying to tear apart Black Panther because people's fondness for it triggered them is as cringe-worthy as reading some on Resetera try and oversell it as some existential breakthrough for human culture.
