That idiot black dude just created a racist for life
Jesus dude; seriously?
That was an exaggeration, but it is within the realm of possibility. Not sure why this is astonishing? People have become skinhead neo-nazis with far less lol wtf
or was that because i called a POC an idiot?
The implication is that it would somehow be some black dude's fault for "creating a racist"; which is a fucked up way to think.
I got robbed at gunpoint by 2 black dudes; I did not become racist nor would I have been justified in any way in doing so, nor would it have "created a racist".. I'd just be a racist dick if I used that as an excuse.
Well, in all aspects he was an idiot. But, i agree putting the full blame on him would not be justified. Like i said, an exaggeration. But having a bad experience at a young age can change you, for good or bad.
I do remember my school district had this plan to bus inner city kids into our high school. They assumed taking these kids out of their environment would some how integrate them into a culture they otherwise would not have a chance to be in? Would somehow improve their grades? and make the other kids interact with a large group of 'poc' , having a chance to mingle, and learn cultural sensitivity.
You know how that worked out? Not every well for majority of students. A large portion of those students bused in created absolute havoc and for the most part lowered the overall grade the school would get on every state exam. I saw almost no integration besides a few students, in my whole 4 years there. And i know for sure that experience created a few racists among some students.
I will have to of course emphasis this with 'this is anecdotal' before Nola comes back in here but i thought i did hear they stopped doing that because it was an utter failure, statewide.
Point is when you go up against a stereotype it usually ends up reinforcing that stereotype.
Is more because you like to justify your own bigotry in the dumbest and more transparent way possible.
How is any of that bigotry on my part?
