Well, she's a bad manager.  The reason she was fired was because of poor training either because of her lazy work ethic or because of a lack of training by corporate.

As is everything on Era, this is primarily a workers rights issue and would be solved by unionizing.

So these - I'm gonna assume students - rock up to a chipotle 5 minutes before closing, order a bunch of food, go "oops, no cash, so what ya gonna do?" knowing theres pretty good odds they'll get it for free, especially if they make a bug fuss about it, get recognised by the manager and told they won't get to place an order unless they can show they have cash beforehand, so try and play the race card (but it backfires)?

...I don't get why the focus is on her terrible deficit of managerial skills. Do franchise managers not have the right to refuse service?

 It's the most passive aggressive shit possible.  The first reply is taking the blame off the perpetrators and putting it on those that will react to the news.   It's saying the Thieving, the Lying, and the Posturing that led to a person being fired is not the issue.  It's the way the media and how stupid white hicks will react that are to blame.

The second is an attempt to cognitive dissonante from the fact you got something wrong.  And it's something that happens all the time!  Young males dine and dash and this is known.  The only reason this was given prominence is because it's black kids and a white(ish) women.  If these were white kids it wouldn't get more than 12 views on twitter. 

As with most threads of this nature "Drunk, white, a-holes kicked out of Waffle House at 2 AM," is not a headline.  But make them black and suddenly there is something malicious about it.

Its format shifting, like ripping an MP3 of a CD. Ripping CDs you own to play on your iPod is fine. Ripping your CDs, then selling your CDs and keeping your digital copies isn't. Straight up downloading MP3s you never owned also isn't.

Well, same as anything else related to hobbies. ZSNES and Snes9X both could play every SNES game. But byuu wanted a cycle accurate emulator. bsnes caused both ZSNES and Snes9X to come back from the dead, if briefly, to patch out bugs and rewrite bad code hacks.

As an aside, byuu couldn't rely on ROMs (many of which have been dumped multiple times, the various "packs" have reasons behind their redumps, etc. Same with how they're re-ripping all the Dreamcast games again) he had to use actual hardware to check against. One reason for years he never would refer to it as 100% accurate is because it's almost impossible to recreate the effects of the sound chip without using the actual chip. The Genesis emulators all have this problem too, including the one Sega purchased from "a rando" to use as their emulator.
