My younger brother is similarly effected.  He's not even right wing, but has become more bitter and isolated recently.  Though to be fair this is likely in part because he's a born psychopath who's incapable of love and did things like throw puppies off steps and hide sharp objects in candy when he was a kid.  Smart enough to not be influenced by extremist ideologies, but still lacking emotions necessary to be someone capable of existing in compassionate society.

Looking at the discussion, it appears that while AOPM *may* initially be coming into the thread to start something, it's not always the case, like the other instances have been prior in this thread. Unless something is particularly egregious, we'll take a moment to assess the situation and decide whether or not to take action. However sometimes people are asking questions without JAQing. AOPM had several posts responding to other users that seemed to be fine. It was only Weltall that was going for the throat.

Based on previous bans in this thread with people coming in to cause trouble, and the situation as a whole, we understand that people can be on edge and unwilling to be forgiving if someone makes a statement that hasn't completely caught up. We've taken action on a few drive-by posts of that nature in this thread. However this doesn't appear to be a drive-by.

In this case, we're inclined to remove both infractions and leave the modpost with the understanding that going forward, hostility is still against our rules. If you feel someone is coming in to cause trouble, report it. We'll take a look at it like we have so many other posts in the thread.

It feels deliberate. Official lyrics are way different than most people hear. Then there's the "if you're inclined" part. He makes it sounds like the Geisha sounds like Asia and then there's the Minah/Minor part. It's just one massive wink, which makes sense given that the entire song is a playful use of words with colorful imagery.

The thing is, thats what is lost in a lot of these lyrics discussion. Most of these songs were written by kids in their late teens or early 20s. We just think of them differently because theyre 63 and signing the same song today.
