Oooh, so many cunts that I didn't think about. Ramos is still top, but there is a seething mass of cuntishness that sits just below him in the hate-scale.

The only player that I can think of that I hate more than Ramos (current or past) is fucking Roy Keane. That guy is a piece of shit of a different scale.

Roy Keane was a galaxy brained asshole, hard to reach that state unless you're Joey Barton, John Terry or any other chelsea player from the early Russian money era.

The funds being available isn't the issue. I don't think the recruitment has been very good (relative to the budget engaged) except year 1 under Leonardo.

The team playing shit has been the story of the whole season tbh, even during the 21 unbeaten run purple patch the team was mostly playing like shit. Emery just doesn't know how to set up against shit teams tbh, that's why one week they get beaten by some Belarusian farmers and the next they play well against Spurs. Lose to Utd and we'll have pulled a Real Madrid and have our whole season over within a week.

Also what was the point of that Suarez loan? Just bringing in one of Emery's old pals for the sake of it, and you just know they are 100% gonna activate his buy-out clause too.

I dont agree there were some good games and overal we are better then last season.

Havent seen a lor of suarez but really hope he is just there to make up the numbers until the end of the season and no more.

This squad needs some serious rebalancing and decent recruitment still.

I agree. I'd rather Liverpool win the league if only for some variety. Also, fuck Pep. Fuck him in the nose.

City fans are also much easier to ignore cause there's only about a dozen of them anyway...or something.

Anyway, my predictions for the Premier League this round:
Crystal Palace 2 v 1 Brighton
Cardiff City 1 v 1 West Ham
Huddersfield Town 0 v 2 Bournemouth
Leicester City 1 v 0 Fulham
Newcastle 2 v 0 Everton
Southampton 0 v 3 Spurs
Manchester City 2 v 1 Watford
Liverpool 2 v 0 Burnley
Chelsea 3 v 1 Wolves
Arsenal 0 v 1 Manchester United

My brother is a big Chelsea fan (pre-Abramovich) so I guess I have fond memories of watching some of those players from the 90s like Zola, Gudjohnsen, Desailly, Poyet and Deschamps.

Even when Abramovich came in, at least he broke the duopoly that Man U and Arsenal had on the Premier League so I never really hated them.

When I think of teams I detest and wish awful things upon, the following immediately come to mind: PSG, Man City, Man U, Juve, Barca, Real Madrid, Sunderland.

Tense but great win, we finally caught a break and United finally ran out of comebacks. Their defeat was a long time coming.

Overall a solid 2 weeks for us. W-W (which I attended yaay)-D-L-W.  I'd have preferred winning against spurs and drawing with Man u but can't complain. Losing against Rennes was weak but helped us today more then Uniteds win against PSG helped them.

Very exciting end of the season. Think spurs might slip out of top 4. would be perfect way really to have EL instead og CL at their grounfs nxt year.

Also Ajax won keeping pressure on PSV.

Zidane back at Real. Ffs why did that bald prick even bother leaving if he was gonna go back at the first opportunity? Was really hoping Pochettino would finally leave Spurs. Only hope now is for Ole's hypetrain to derail and they crash and burn for the rest of season, allowing the Mancs to go for Poch.

Strange decision by Zidane. If he succeeds in turning it around, then no one will be surprised, but if he falls, then the knives will definitely be out.

Here's to some late-season fuckery to make everything exciting.

That was rhetorical question. I know the answer already. Madrid and Barcelona fuck over the other 18 clubs on tv rights with the express blessing of the Primera Liga

While it's getting a little fairer, the tv money ratios for the top 5 leagues is quite interesting and shows why Madrid, Barca and the likes of PSG, Bayern and Juve are not playing on a level playing field with everyone else.

Quote
Based on the 2017/18 distribution, the ratio between the highest earning team and the lowest earning team in La Liga is 1:3.6. Serie A is generally at the higher end of the scale – around 1:4.5 while Ligue 1 is usually close to La Liga’s ratio.

The Bundesliga ratio has run at around 1:3.4 while the Premier League ratio of 1:1.6 makes the English top flight the most equitable by far.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/bobbymcmahon/2019/01/06/1-5b-in-tv-rights-fees-barcelona-real-madrid-and-16-other-teams-bank-record-payouts-from-la-liga/#4643be065eb9

Quote
A centralized model was legislated by a 2015 Royal decree and required implementation for the 2016/17 season. 2015/16 saw a hybrid model implemented as a stepping stone to full implementation.

Prior to the decree, La Liga teams sold rights on an individual basis. Barcelona and Real Madrid siphoned off a large percentage of the rights (combo of 38% in 2014/15). This percentage has now dropped to 23%. However, the pie has grown larger and so Barcelona and Real Madrid are banking more money than ever before.

If you add in all the dodgy real estate deals Madrid have done with the city council it all amounts to a league and a system that is unfairly slanted in their favour.
