I mean.. they can't really do it faster than MS. MS is more experienced in that area and alread has more datacenters / a bigger infrastructure.

xcloud seems like its going to be running actual xbox hardware (and presumably nextbox hardware) blades at their data centres, so you'll be streaming literal xbox games.
stadia is going to be custom hardware PCs, presumably running linux.
It'll be, what, a year? into the next gen console lifecycle where PC Ultra settings are noticably better than a console baseline.
e: but the fact that video of a game at PC Ultra is going to look better than video of the same game at a console baseline with AO / Lightsources / Shadows / etc set to lower values isn't what is going to sell stadia over buying an xbox and a gamepass subscription and an xcloud subscription and an xbl subscription and an EA gamepass subscription.
