Wow, elsewhere I’ve gotten messages from people, all about how they think I didn’t do anything wrong and/or denouncing antisemitism, some from the unlikeliest of people. Maybe the world does have good left in it after all.
Because someone asked me, for the record, the allegations of the thread being created in bad faith are simply not true. In fact, as I do everywhere because I believe in self-moderation, I ignored the trolls, reported content that was derailing the thread (specifically the post about Israel not being people, stating it was a gross generalization and not appropriate) and even requested that a staff post be added to the OP to get things on topic.
I did all this through the forum's report tools, not on the actual thread publicly as to avoid any derailment.
