Every long-lasting and meaningful relationship I've ever had as an adult has been with someone I met at work, so I've been through this plenty of times. People have bad experiences with it but lots of other people do just fine. You might find there are no issues whatsoever and neither of you have a problem with it.

Yes majority Muslim attendance alongside a few Jewish and Christian parents.

Despite starting off very similar to above article about a total ban. I think there was a clear consensus that the age that this was being introduced was.absolutely the major the issue. Sex Ed delivery in UK varies in terms of age of delivery. But appears mainly around Y9 (13yr).

It seem parents agreed that LGBT ed at around that age would be more acceptable.

Some may find that interesting.

They obviously went along to rabble rabble rabble about gay rights, but 👏 sat 👏 down 👏 and 👏 listened 👏 to what the parents had to say, and realised it wasn't We Hate Gays rhetoric, it was parents thinking 9 year olds are too young to understand homosexuality devoid of the context of the rest of human sexuality.
