My wife and I have Annual Passes as Florida residents so we can go over for a day, or do a night and price food accordingly, and not spend an exorbitant amount. We don't make a lot, but we make enough where we can have passes and that is our "fun money" expense for the month. All it takes is budgeting and you can have a fantastic time at WDW for a reasonable price.

Disney know how to charge but considering you may not be back for a decade spending money know on memories is worth it. I have a t-shirt I bought over a decade ago and it's still perfectly wearable and a pint and a half coffee mug that just starting to fade.

We’ll be in the parks most days, we normally do 2 weeks but it wasn’t much extra to stay a few days more.

We stayed there August 2017 and it’s where we are staying this August / September.

Love it, feels so homely

I personally found the portions at most sit down places too plentiful for my liking so food was wasted.

But there are definitely some restaurants that should be experienced though for the atmosphere. I have fond memories of the restaurant in the Mexican pyramid (Epcot) and the Pirates of the Caribbean ride (Blue Bayou) in Disneyland.

If you're buying merch in the parks, you're doing it wrong. Go to one of the two Disney Character Warehouses at the outlets just 10 mins from the parks and you can get official Disney merch from last season (and even stuff they still sell in the parks right now for half off or even cheaper.

There are YouTube vloggers who go every day and show every item and price, so YouTube it and see if there's anything that catches your eye.

My girlfriend and I live nearby and go the Warehouses once a week and find amazing deals every time.

You'll start to notice people wearing shorts, bags, and hats from there all over the parks once you go, hehe.

T-shirts are usually $8-10, hats $6, hoodies $16-20, pins $1-6, plushies $1-10 and so much more.
