did some minor checking on Google, apparently he's been U.S. President for close to a year now, possibly more?

That's a big no from me. The Confederate flag is trash and represents hate. This flag doesn't represent that.

Of course we all know a flag of a colonialist white supremacist government isn't hateful in the least.

It's so weird how the old NeoGAF mods are allowed to ResetEra despite covering for pedo-Amir0x and being denounced by ResetEra LLC for their style of moderation (which they almost immediately adopted themselves).

Perhaps I give people more credit than their due, but this strikes me as just one more way that 4chan trolls have found to wreak havoc with just the power of anonymous communication. Next-level SWATting, essentially.
Even 4chan banned gamergate people so they gather on different sites now. Should give you an idea of the type of people fueling this movement

this five year old NeoGAF.com post is a great first half lore intro for a post I saw in women sexualize concerns thread while looking for that sabrina one: https://www.resetera.com/threads/why-women-criticise-sexualised-character-designs-ot2-i-have-no-pants-and-i-must-scream-read-op.65064/post-18861396

I think we should keep that to that thread, lest we stray off course, but that is a good reason why to not do your AMA on 8chan, a place that people who are rejected from 4chan go to.
Just wanted to direct attention to that thread and express my vain hope THQ's courting pedophiles and mass shooters will cause people to take another pass at that whole AMA thing again.

Evilore did admit a while back that he basically wasn't paying attention to what the mods were doing at all from like 2015-October 2017 and barely read the forum on top of that so he was surprised at how things were going on ResetERA.com in terms of the dominant viewpoints of "respected members", his own mods freed to post, etc. #ParisAgreement

I did notice a huge gap when looking into Snoopy's request, that explains it.

While I agree with that, dunno why some part of the fan base needs to go full distinguished mentally-challenged fellow about it getting implemented. Feels silly to get mad about in a multiplayer game about knights killing each other.

There's a far better way of forcing gay conversion therapy into your "family bloodlines matters," storyline, Ubisoft: Don't. Or if you must, don't make the forced romance so fucking cringe-worthy that you basically hamstring the scenes (after saying you modified them) to where they're SO FUCKING OUT OF THE BLUE after you think you had them sail off into the sunset (until the next episode anyway).

Goddamn, I'm angry about this and I already was angry about it when the DLC released in January.

What a terrible end to Pride Month (even though that ended yesterday).

Man i didn't even know there was beef inside trans communities between beards and non-beards.
It's one of the reasons I still feel super uncomfortable saying I'm non-binary/genderqueer. I present as 100% male, and I don't like the way I look without a beard at my current weight. So that means, if I care enough to prove to others that I am what I feel like on the inside, I have to do other things like paint my nails, wear skirts, etc. To this date, I'm still only comfortable doing the nails part though.
:awesome
This right here is why my eyes usually roll into the back of my head when trans issues are brought up. I mean, I am down with your right to exist and be seen and addressed in the way you choose, I get that you are persecuted, I get that life is complicated, but sometimes these types of conversations are just........

So the complete statement contradicts the new one but paints article as click bait:

Quote
Update: After this article was published, Triternion stated on Twitter that it does not have plans to include a setting which disables the appearance of "characters that aren’t white," and never did. This contradicts statements developers Mike Desrosiers and Andrew Geach made to PC Gamer last week and which we reported in this article.

During our interview, we asked, "Are there plans to increase, on the character creator side, the diversity of the characters players can create? You've talked in the past about adding female playable characters and changing character's skin tones ... is that something you guys are committed to doing?"

Desrosiers replied, "That goes back to a similar situation as the chat filters. Whatever stance we take officially, some group of people are going to be upset with us. And so, ideally we’d put the power in the players’ hands, and give them the option to enable and disable different things.

"There has been endless debates about it, and it attracts a lot of toxicity, a lot of stuff we’re not interested in attracting to the game itself, any more on top of what’s already present. But we’re definitely always looking at ways of expanding [our customisation]."

Later, after Geach explained how Triternion might go about creating new character customization options, such as female characters, black characters, and Middle Eastern characters, we asked, "So current thoughts on that, as Mike said, maybe adding that and then giving the option for players to disable it? Is that the current thinking?"

Geach replied, "Yeah, that seems to be the current thinking. It’s not set in stone, it depends how our community is in the future. Maybe if it calms down in the future, the game still has a lot of players, a lot of toxicity, a lot of racism, a lot of politics, everything, people argue in chat about all sorts of nonsense."

The British could have given Hong Kong to Taiwan, ie: the Republic of China. There was no requirement to give it to the mainland. It was a mistake.

One country two systems was always a farce, and it's good that Taiwan got to see it for themselves. that's the silver lining, it shows that Hong Kong isn't going to just roll over to whatever the mainland wants and that the PRC's own policy was a sham.

At some point my experience, conferring my role of authority, was waylaid by this individual leveling the suspicion that I'm of white privilege.

I have had to work twelve years, eight as a dishwasher, attend culinary school, just to finally land a very difficult job that pays enough to enable me to go back to college.

I know I have some privilege but I also think that I've had less privilege than others, just to be fair to myself.

So like I tried to like play along with these constant jokes. He tried to get me to say the n word on multiple occasions. I'm trying to work with the person. But he is doing nothing and then getting in my way as I try to work.

At least it's nice to hear that Enzom got a job.

I like the idea that being white makes it easier to become a cook. That's like saying janitors and landscape workers who are white are given invisible privileges.
