I would argue all the people coming into a topic complaining about drinking in the shower being socially unhealthy just to be like "gonna go shower drink, thanks!" is trolling. You see it all the time on the gaming side where someone is posting about how some asshole youtuber is awful or some shit and people come into be like "big fan, thanks!"

It's about how normalizing dangerous drinking habits contributes to the rise of societal alcoholism, as in a systemic response.I'd say it's more telling about how defensive posters ITT got about someone calling out a rightfully dangerous normalization because it hits close to home, but not a damn person has said anything (serious) about dipping chocolate cookies into frosting or chugging 2 liters of soda. If people are going into the shower to relax, then they're a problem. If a shower is relaxing to them while utilitarian, who cares, but you shouldn't go into the shower to relax. That's selfish and hurts the environment. You should go into a shower to clean yourself as necessary.I don't care if you find doing that relaxing, since that's irrelevant to the entire reason this entire line of conversation came up: someone said it was alright to drink in the shower the same as drinking on a couch because they are both meant for relaxation. I feel confused. The artist seems to be actually progressive in their ideas, but sometimes their strips are as sharp and edgy as a rubber duck, and they come off very... Weird?I'm thoroughly confused.

The posted image can understandable be misinterpreted as transphobic. It isn't a very good comic either way. Context makes it plainly obvious the intent of the comic was not transphobic.

I've recently booked a holiday to Tokyo next year and i'm in two minds about what to eat. I've been vegan over a year now and don't think twice about it but after doing some research it looks like i'll be missing out on a whole lot if i didn't try the street food and the ramen etc. Of course there's vegan options and places to eat but the food looks so damn good. I'm worried about if i'll be able to go back 100% plant based when i'm home.I originally went vegan for health and energy benefits plus getting a dog changed my mind on the impact of animal agriculture.Anyone ever had this predicament?

What made me swear off alcohol was actually a friend confiding in me that he thought he was an alcoholic because he drank 2 beers before his 9 am class, and it made me realize I had done the same thing.
