On a scale of “prime” norm McDonald to $300 cameo video norm McDonald how bad would you say it is?

One day I will dig it up but power puff girls had a street sign in the background for 3 seconds that was an extremely vulgar joke.

Edit:

I want to say there was another one, too.

you know, my response to nudemacusers was very hamfisted, like slamming a sledgehamm---

https://www.resetera.com/threads/this-douchbag-toxic-soap-guy.142556/
Quote
"Hi, I'm that douchebag you keep seeing in YouTube ads selling some kind of soap. That's right. I sell soap, and I'm really annoying while I do that."

"Check out this soap. It's for MEN. Manly men. That's right. I'm gonna use toxic masculinity to restrict what genders can use our friggin' soap. You can't use this soap if you're a woman. You can't even use this soap if you're an L. And probably not if you're one of those T's or Q's, either. This soap is for men dudes. If it detects more than one X chromosome, it burns your flesh, like acid. "

"What, you think that because I deliver this commercial with a sense of irony and crack jokes while I'm doing this that you're not suppose to take the toxic masculinity seriously? Not true. While I deliver this message with an air of knowing how ridiculous this all is, there's still no point in the commercial where I pull back and rescind anything or even hint that this is anything but an attempt to sell soap exclusively to men. If you're not a manly man dude and you buy this product, you have missed the entire point of the sales pitch. So even if it sounds like I know how absurd this all is, the truth is that I know exactly what I'm doing. I'm using humor to make you think I've disarmed or blunted the toxicity, but I really haven't."

"Oh and that's not all. I'm also going to make spurious claims about how NATURAL my soap is. Other soaps have CHEMICALS in them. And CHEMICALS are BAD. There's no such thing as a naturalistic fallacy! What are you saying? That vaccines are good too? Yeah, you're probably some kind of sissy wussy boy who has mommy issues and you think you need the pharma industry to cuddle you to sleep. Everybody knows that CHEMICALS are BAD. So that makes my soap, gooder."

"Now if you pardon me, I have to appear in my sidejob as a salesmen for sunglasses in a different YouTube ad. Don't worry, it won't be any less toxic. I'll start off with a line that overemphasizes how much better it is to be attractive in our society..."

"Your face is your money-maker...."

now my response feels muted and subtle  :doge

Quote
it’s a stupid joke that only works if you try to make it be something nonsensical. Normally a place would only change the first name not the whole name

Yes, thank you. It just takes too many steps for a flowy joke. It's jilted and requires a bizarre sideways leap of logic, like one of those dumb Mine Trap riddles where the answer is something that technically makes sense but in dumb, eye rolling way.

Quote
It's a great joke that many people picked up on right away!

Apparently we are supposed to surmise that the name of the previous store was "Chuck's Suck & Fuck". Because for some reason the previous proprietor would have maintained the exact same naming conventions (both words must rhyme with the name, and must start with the letters F and S). Even if you somehow make this leap though, I'm not sure what's funny about the name beyond it being flagrantly vulgar.

Quote from: Halo's Frank O'Connor
I had to look it up just now even though I immediately got the general jist - the steps to resolve were not immediately obvious to me. I suspect the joke originated in a more obvious format and rather than this being a standalone joke it's a reference to one.

Quote
This fucking thing took forever to land. They all end in -eed because the new owners name is Sneed. So when it was Chuck they all ended in -uck making the old name chuck's fuck and suck.

God this was such a terrible reach for a gag. It took way too much to figure it out because by all rights youd think it was just called Chucks Feed and Seed.

This dumb Simpsons gag really has them all worked up :lol

Quote
Quote
I just know so many people who never "got it" that I think it doesn't work well as a joke at all. Myself included. Also a splash of bitterness for it going over my head most of my life.

Sorry for your hardship. I can see how being driven to madness after years of trying to unpack the steps involved and examine the business models of the two stores and how the building came to change hands and go from (presumably) being in the sex industry to a farm supply store would ruin the joke. But as Jintor mentioned, it's not really something you're meant to think about as it relies on triggering an unconscious substitution, so for those it does work for it's just a quick-fire bit of vulgarity.
Quote
Quote
This joke fucking sucks and is such a reach.

I was in my 30s before I finally had it explained to me and it just does not land or make much sense. It's not clever, it's not funny, and it takes way too many steps for such a lame "punchline".

It rhymes, you see Chuck and it just makes sense. I honestly thought you were being intentional in your first sentence saying it fucking sucks since that is the intended joke play on words (Chuck's Fuck & Suck), but I guess you are not that clever.

A farmer is concerned that all 3 of his daughters are going on a date tonight. He decided he'll greet each man who shows up tonight with his shotgun in hand.

The first man to ring the doorbell greets the farmer with, "Hi, my names Joe. I'm here for Flo. We're going to see the show. Is she ready to go?"

The farmer likes this fellow and sends Joe and Flo off.

The second man to show up says, "Hello, I'm Eddy. I'm looking for Betty. We're gonna go eat some spaghetti. Is she ready?"

The farmer decides this guys okay too so off they go.

The third man rings the doorbell says, "Hey, my name's Chuck."

And the farmer shot him.

It's unclear why he decided to do this, as the poor man's name in reality had no bearing on what he was about to say next.  More than anything else, it's important to view the farmer's reaction as a chilling commentary on gun culture.

Just to clarify, I'm not talking about things like racism, homophobia, classism, etc.. because those are not opinions at all. So let's get to it:

There are times where there are opinions in regards to games, books, movies, developers, etc... (X thing is bad) that tends to piss me off and that I can't help but feel immense anger when I read them. I'm aware those are just random people who I don't know personally, so I shouldn't care, but fuck..... I just can't help it.

So how do you deal with the fact that there are people who have different opinions of things you're passionate about? Or the fact they dislike them?

Not one of these cowards has said that they cut themselves off from whoever dares disagree with them on the simplest of things.

Hawkster, it does sound like you have anger management issues, and we have kind of spoken about this before. I would really look into healthier ways of dealing with this, and maybe even some things like CBT and distress tolerance skills might help.

This sounds like historing of history and doxxing personal details and backseat psychiatring , from a mod no less.

What the hell is with ERA's terror over the word female? It's the fucking name of the gender, there's nothing sexist about it and it's not something the dreaded incels made up. They are constantly saying male and predictably don't have a problem with that though.

Literally one person said they didn't like it and made a thread, and all the fedora-tipping male feminists now police every topic to use it as a gotcha

Yo momma so old she is depicted in cave art!

Yo momma so fat she saw a bus go by and shouted, "stop that twinkie!"

Yo momma so stupid she got hit by a parked car!

Once a week. Clothes usually on Thursday so I have everything I may want to wear for the weekend; bedding typically on Sundays to wash off the weekend's sex.

They really need to start wrecking low level employees. Put a few compromised low level chumps in actual jail and wreck their financial future and start moving up the chain. Nobody is squealing because so far rank and filers are being ignored. Subpoena chumps, let them lie, then fine and jail them for it. And ratchet upwards. Until the enablers and collaborators see consequences they'll maintain silence/.
Time to lock up and bankrupt innocent people and civil servants to intimidate Rudy Giuliani  :lol
