Just like our dying biosphere, there are certain tipping points where certain events tend to ensure bigger things happen later, and consequently the present starts seeing some wild changes relative to what's already happened.

So yeah, I do have more thoughts on this somewhat sociopathic rule of waiting for the bottom to fall out historically before forcefully sounding the public alarm, but I don't care about that convo right now. Only focused right now on the now and anticipating for the future in the face of Watergate on traitorous steroids.

First things first, I better start seeing inherent contempts fly. And all of the committees need to officially join themselves to the judiciary's impeachment., No floor vote yet obviously, but a more united front instead of this disparate discombobulated mess that even the GOP was trying to argue about in legal documents. Not to mention how so many crimes seem to be committed especially after other potential tipping points kept getting drowned by the Democrats themselves...

Whoops, sorry, focusing on the now. Ahem, tomorrow should be interesting. And obviously Thursday could be historic one way or the other. We shall see.

Now they are even talking like Trump.

BenjiSales new twitter header is pretty fucking gay NGL. It worries me the amount of attention a boy reading blogs can get, people are too stupid to see that he only works in a gamestop/bestbuy.

Saying that analytics for video games is lower than journalism so guess he should be commended for at least finding a place he can thrive talking out his ass.

One thing on ERA he always hated was when you called him a liar, but what he is doing is literally calculated lying.

Also as for resetera users using banbot to out others that's clearly what banbot wanted right?

Also oni-link system has not posted on twitter for over a month, whoever is running that system is keeping strong so good for them.

Shouldn't be surprised by the people that had Persona 5 in the list of their top 10 rpgs of all time, but lol at all these people choosing LA over LttP. Recency bias is a big thing with these lot.

With P5 Royale are they just removing content to make it a better game? Because god damn that's what they need to do.

Sometimes people see others getting laughs and being popular and they want to try it themselves.  But since they don't understand what humor or fun is they just replicate what they've seen.

I seriously worry about ERA being allowed to own pets. yet another, I can't afford my pet thread.

Whenever I get a pet, before I even take them home I get pet insurance that covers them for life. What is with all these people?

https://www.resetera.com/threads/we-can%E2%80%99t-afford-our-cat%E2%80%99s-medical-expenses.142754/

My partner is very much a vet person and adores our cat, but back in May she took Tuna in for a check up with bloodwork and whatnot. The blood work showed some concerning signs. Based off the results, Tuna had abnormally high liver enzyme values. The vet wasn’t sure of the cause, bacterial or not, so they started a plan to treat it with various approaches to see if anything works. Tuna had an ultrasound and was prescribed antibiotics first- nothing changed. Tuna was then prescribed steroid pills- this apparently made things worse. So they recommended we see a specialist. My partner got back from the specialist in tears, because the process to treat whatever this is is so expensive. The specialist wants to do a surgical biopsy to gain more information which supposedly will cost $4-5k, then the treatment will start. I’m not sure how much treatment will be, or what we have to do. We don’t fully know what’s wrong and how extensive this issue is, our cat doesn’t show any signs of distress- she hasn’t acted abnormal in anyway since this diagnoses.
My partner has enough debt right now she has to pay off, but hates weighing her financial health against the life of her cat. I’m in school right now, living off of savings and subsidies, working part time.
This could damage us in the long term financially, but it’s a tough situation to be in. We were aware that there may be medical problems down the line, but we thought it might be a couple years before anything serious might have come up, which would allow for some time to save up money.

What are your thoughts?

That's why you get insurance on pets so when this happens you pay a small excess etc. Guess I'm middle class.

Pretty sure they charge you still when they kill grandma too.

I like how several people in that thread are all "ugh... I was recommended that site in my Google feed too. Wtf". Weird. Somehow bumping around game and movie sites, I have never been recommended some second rate comic site in my feed. Wonder where these people browse about all day.

I wonder the same thing when they complain about how YouTube keeps recommending them alt-right provocateurs. It doesn't happen to me despite watching lots of gaming videos and known hate channels like RedLetterMedia.

TBH that is pretty ridiculous to charge someone $4-5K plus more for "treatment" for something that hasn't even been diagnosed yet on a 11 year old cat that is showing no signs of distress.   There have been some dumb pet threads on GAF/REE but I have sympathy for the OP on this one.  A lot of the responses are totally uncalled for and show why their only companion is a dog or cat, and even those probably wouldn't hesitate to shit in their dumbass owner's shoes.

Yeah $4-5K for that procedure is a lot, especially when the cat is showing no signs of illness. A second opinion would be my next step.

Yeah I can agree this one probably is more of that sucks, although if the cat is not showing signs of distress and is happy and eating I personally wouldn't be going for more tests until something took a turn for the worse, I do however think there needs to be better teaching for people to say hey you have health insurance (where you need it) so if you're to get an animal why not spend a litle month to month so if something god forbid was to happen to them you're covered. It's just me really, I see so many of these gofundme for pets and I'm like instead of begging constantly why not just insure your animal? I mean especially when half of them start with my service animal or some shit.

After just having faced a $10k+ vet bill for a potential treatment for a cat, I can't really shit on this person. Even with pet insurance you can still face 1000s in bills after some treatments.

Persephone / pashmilla on gaf is one of the most cringe-worthy characters at REEE.  This person is literally 250lbs+, just a disgusting slop of a human , dare I say, female. And as usual, is loud af on the internet due to being a bread crumb irl.  Some choice links, took me all of 30 seconds to find:

https://www.neogaf.com/threads/its-just-a-joke-man-yes-bigoted-humour-does-normalise-bigoted-attitudes.1352236/
^ one of the most cringey threads in the history of histories

The OG "females" thing:
https://www.resetera.com/threads/please-stop-referring-to-women-as-females-read-op.55731/

Catcalling, "I get catcalled at least 10 times every time I go to the grocery store"... says Shamu:
https://www.neogaf.com/threads/lets-talk-about-catcalling.1346394/

The absolute worst type of REEEE'er because they reach a level of cringe where it's not even funny anymore, know what I'm saying?
hey

CHOW CHOW:  How do you know what she looks like?

Asking for a friend.
Her twitter was posted somewhere and it had her photo, it was 100% her, linked to era acc etc
Unfortunately I'm not autistic enough to remember much more

Era woke misanthropy is something to behold:

To me it's warranted. I'd never do this but that's almost like a wet dream of mine.

But i'm an ashtmatic with weak ass lungs who can't breathe even when outside and 10m away from a smoker. So i might be a wee bit biased.

If someone smoking outdoors 30 feet from you make you unable to breathe, maybe it's not everyone else around you that needs to change.

Nice to see they're well-adjusted and level-headed though.

Using nonlethal violence on those seeking murder and genocide isn't to my money a particularly grand ethical dilemma. Is punching necessarily the most useful option for someone finding themselves with the opportunity to do so? Maybe not, but it's very rare that such attacks aren't being done either to folks who are prominent white supremacist figureheads or actively trying to do harm to others anyway.

This reminds me of a girl I once knew who freaked out and had panic attacks and hyperventilated if she was in a car going over 40 mph, massively inconveniencing her family and anyone else

Was riding with her somewhere and she started going  "oh god slow down slow down please" and the driver was like  :gurl

Was 100% for attention, later she stopped doing that and was on to something else
