I'm 39, married, and I recently came out as bisexual. For the most part it has gone really well, but as I have more and more conversations about it with people, something inevitably happens that has been bothering me. I feel like people I have told seem to think that my telling them my sexuality immediately gives them a free pass to ask really personal questions about my sex life. Maybe some mother/child relationships are like that, but my mom is not exactly a sex-positive person. We've hardly talked about sex at all, ever.

I thought I was going to get more "pit stop to being gay"-type statements, and I actually haven't gotten much of that (only from my gay massage therapist and his boyfriend, in fact). But I am really just surprised at the variety of inquiries about my sex life. Anyone else deal with this?

I am the only one who said that. It is specific to our arrangement.

So, I am bisexual. My wife is not, nor does she have the desire to fool around with other guys. I am free to engage in a limited number of sex acts with other people, but only men, and only following a strict set of guidelines.

What if the person lives there? This might be different experiences talking here, but here in NYC (and many other cities) plenty of people rent out another unit in their home. Not all landlords are evil billionaires. Many are people trying to pay off their mortgage.

I had to call the property management company in charge of my complex because the piece of shit lady in charge of the local office told me that the maintenance crew wouldn't be able to fix my ac unit because it was "too cold outside" to tell. It was fucking 85 degrees out in July.

Her dumb ass has since been fired and I'm just gonna assume it was because of me and the multiple google reviews mentioning her by name, complete fucking sociopath.

My previous apartment tried to keep my deposit because of water damage caused by a leak in the pipes that I asked to get repaired multiple times and they never attempted, which was increasing my water bill and was the entire reason I ended my lease.

Landlords contribute nothing to this world and they can burn in hell tbh.
