No. N64 was my first console.
And I don't think I have that much of a bias towards Sony. I've had every Xbox for instance. I do prefer the Playstation I guess, but also the kind of games under the Xbox and Playstation attract.
I just don't like Nintendo. I don't like Nintendo games. I dislike Zelda, Mario, and so on. I find Nintendo games to be cheap and having low production values compared to the rest of the industry. No reason Pokemon games should look the way they do and have things like no voice acting compared to what they sell. Even Fire Emblem looks like trash. There's no reason Nintendo games should lack things like 5.1 sound and in general technical aspects that pretty much every other developer has. Their online is a joke. I don't care for platformers. They don't make games with the stories, worlds, aesthetics, or subject matter that interests me. And they usually feel pretty low budget.
Only reason I own a Wii, a Wii U, and a Switch is because of Platnium, Monolith, and the occasional third party Japanese game like No More Heroes. The only "Nintendo" games I have are Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros Wii U, and Fire Emblem Warriors. Kart because it came with the Wii U, Smash Bros because people like playing it when they are over. I've never played it on my own, don't like Smash. Fire Emblem honestly because of the character designs and ok muso gameplay.
I'm happy they are funding Monolith and Platinum, but I'd probably enjoy those games more if they were on pretty much any other platform. They'd look and run better. XBX on PC would be amazing. The Last Story not running like shit would be great. Astral Chain in a higher resolution would probably take the anime look even further. Fatal Frame in surround sound would be amazing.
