One thing to note about the physical version is it will probably be a while before it ships out -it's an open pre-order for a month- and then they will submit orders for manufacturing. So if you want to play it anytime soon, get it digitally.

BTW, every other ad for iOS games in Japan seems to be some kind of anime-girl collector. It's... disturbing.

Almost all of the dialogue is fully-voiced and Misuzu got an animated intro before the boss battle. I can see why this is a little bit higher-priced than your average indie game now. And it's worth it!

Legit good. The negative I've encountered so far is performance issues- it takes a hit on large areas. Doesn't affect gameplay thankfully, but you can tell the framerate has dropped.

It's very much a RCR game in that it's not a straight beat-em-up and you will be running around town doing things. When you're walking around, you can choose to fight or run past enemies, although it's worth fighting since you level up and get money. You get new moves when you level up and you can also go to the dojo run by one of the Double Dragons and buy special moves. So the more you play, the more the attacks you can do opens up and it plays better as you go along.

If you want a straight beat-em-up, this is not your game, but I think most people would expect that from this.

Do you have to take turns shopping/levelling up in co op like dragons crown or can you both do it at the same time?

I'm gonna buy this anyway because it's extremely my shit but i just wanna know. my pet peeve is co op games where you have to wait around for someone to do something
