It's observing a phenomenon that is being seen in day-to-day life with worrying effect. The same spheres of misinformation & organized harassment that fuel Q-Anon, Pizzagate, etc. are being represented in every fandom we can think of: Tesla defenders, PewDiePie fans, DCEU fans, etc.

I understand that a lot of people are saying about Elsa accepting herself for who she is and its queer indications, but for me it's difficult to see if that was intentional from the writers. As in, it would have worked better if they did make her queer and found the voice was female elemental usee like her and they found love.
