Believe it was about 100k to make little over 6 million in 5 days. But all the same, he was trading options, not tesla stock. Whole different animal that shouldnt be looked at as how well the company is doing. Like if he simply would have used that 100k to buy the stock, he would have "only" made 50k. Options have a lot of other factors going into it.

But regardless, tsla is still on an unprecedented tear upwards these last few days. The valuations now basically make it worth more than every other car company combined while doing "niche" numbers as you said. Theres many a people questioning it, the sudden rise even off strong earnings doesnt make a whole lot of sense not to just yourself but rich powerful people who evaluate this stuff for a living. I would imagine there will be a bit of a crash in it in the coming days but still think it's largely here to stay.
