After their Dunkey video, the last thing I paid any attention to was the Bill Burr kerfuffle where Ethan went and had a whinecast with someone else who both expected Burr to come in and do a private set for them instead of come in and have a conversation. I read her bio and it looks like her most recent iteration is effectively granted god derived “huntress “ powers and a sort of pantheon approved method of challenging gods and demigods- although originally she was just an insecure heiress who turned criminal and more of a neurotic Lex Luthor/Justin Hammer analog.

Not sure what her movie outing will focus on but her version name and the leaked pic say supernatural powers and complex relationship with Diana to me. She’s had a couple hours f antihero redemption arcs but is weirdly recent relative to the original version of that character- brought back from obscure oblivion just a couple of decades ago. Which seems to be a frequent goldmine for modern comic writers. Weird old shit that doesn’t make sense in 2020 but can be revamped or given a twist.

Cheetah/Barbara stands a chance against Wonder Woman because Diana is a good person who wishes to save Barbara not just flat out murder her. And none of this is oblivion revival, Barbara has been around forever (aka since Crisis) and consistently. There's a gap in her history as Cheetah because she was "cured" at one point before sacrificing herself to save people. The other Cheetahs don't count, you'd think a lore-expert like Frank would understand this.

Also, MAXWELL LORD IS IN THE FILM. He's the true BIG BAD. How can he not be?!? Cheetah will obviously make the anti-hero turn to help defeat him and escape, which Diana "allows" reluctantly in order to save Barbara at a future point.

Dogpiling has to be the single most annoying thing that happens on Era. You just have to let everyone else know that you're on the right side on this issue, even if you have nothing meaningful to add to the discussion. It's especially annoying when it happens after a poster was already banned. But in this case it wasn't even anything against the rules.

God forbid someone challenges your preconceived notions and makes you think for a second about them, even if at the end you continue holding the same beliefs, which is exactly what happened in my case.
