It's unbelievable, truly. The man is being asphyxiated on camera and the entire dying process, from beginning to end, is all there. It's like Gardner, but the perspective is so lucid that the benefit of the doubt is so completely removed, that I haven't seen a single person argue on behalf of the cop. Not one. So I don't know what's going on.
The only explanation I can think of is that they're tactically using a grace period so as to not make it look like they've acquiesced to the riot. They want to make it look like they can't be moved by this sort of action.
