The drama around the technical state of the game is burying the transphobic problem so hard in the social media sphere. Kinda wish the game released in a normal state so that the discourse on this would stay more visible more longer.

The way I see it, the game's reputation is ruined.
It's a joke now.

My friend gave me access to his GoG account as he can't run it on his PC without it crashing every 5 minutes. Just finished installing.



I've got a 2700x and a 2080, curious to see how it will run. This might be the first game that makes my 2080 start to feel older...

Put in a refund request a few days ago on a GOG account that has around 14 hours on it. They sent a response asking if I'd take GOG credit, I responded that we'd prefer a full cash refund. 48 hours and no response yet.



Around 4 hours of this time was messing with settings and trying to get stable 60, which I told them about in the email.

astro "used his friends copy" to play for 16 hours over 4 days before putting in a refund request, and claims 6 hours of that was 'performance tweaking' (which is self evidently bullshit)
kyuuji is so deeply offended on a personal and moral level by the messaging of cyberpunk they tried to get discussion banned entirely, and played through the entire of the game and then immediately new game plussed it.
