Them FINALLY altering the obituary rule is actually one of the few good things they've done as of late, at least as far as enforcing their own TOS goes. Yeah, it's super arbitrary and partisan, but it at least gives them very clear cover when their entire userbase is dancing on someone's grave with the staff joining in. They'll continue to be hypocritical as fuck in other areas, but this is consistent with their ideology regardless of how vile they get about people that just died. It's not like calling for political assassinations which should be moderated for obvious reasons. Twitter is constantly celebrating death and no one gives a shit, so why should a clearly partisan forum like resetera?
