What's the difference between buying these shitcoins and out of the money options?  At least you can find a company that has assets, equipment, human capital, etc - and there's a chance that something will move on fundamentals because of a tendency for probabilistic fat tails.  There are thousands of these coins, and they never come back up.  90% of these coins have an infinite supply and inflation potential.  Why do this to yourself?  If you have the gambling bug, just buy lottery tickets, or you can daytrade the futures market with very little margin reqs, scouring improbable but lucrative opportunities without having to wait weeks, months, years for 5:1 RR opportunities that you would for these one-in-ten thousand coins to come back up.  I'm not anti-crypto on principle; I think there's a lot of interesting tech going on in the background that could be put to use if we can control the energy issue, but as investment vehicles they just don't make any more sense than a lottery ticket.  Putting any meaningful amount of money into these things seems really senseless.

Frank Luntz predicts everything will come crashing down the July 4th weekend when consumer realize that they can't afford full gas tanks and party supplies.
But he predicted that before Biden fell off his bike.

“Snoop is actually heavily involved in the NFT space and so it’s very plausible that he would rock up to NFT.NYC.”

The team didn’t ask Snoop Dogg for permission for the stunt.

Quote
Malik only found out about “Doop Snogg” from her friends later on. She has lost money to NFT scams and works in an NFT community to protect other users, she explained.

“So it was kind of ironic that I learned later that this is not real,” she said. “I knew there was always a 50/50 chance.”

Not a lawyer but wouldn't there be grounds for some potential fraud there ?  :lol

I wonder if $WBD might be worth a punt for the coming days/weeks... with Multiversus seeming like it could be a real hit, I could see a metaverse/"the next Fortnite!!?!1!" narrative springing up around their properties and giving it a bit of a pump. Maybe it makes the gaming divison that they've been trying to sell off forever look more appealing too.

From what I've read over the past couple of days the company doesn't function because of a lack of discipline among the WFH crowd and slacktivists (Who could've predicted that :trumps)
And now they have the added problem of a CEO that ignores market trends and ignores "what the audience actually wants" by burning billions trying to built his own Second Life clone and he blames his own failure on his staff.

I think VR is exciting and it's a field worth investing in but what the hell are they spending that money on because it certainly ain't the graphics or the hardware :doge :lol
He can't reverse like this either. I bet in a few weeks we'll get lenghty articles about how 'TOXIC' Facebook has become because you can no longer do 1 day work weeks to work on your side projects and "mental health" instead.

It seems Facebook is about ready for a Microsoft buy out.

Facebooks biggest problems have been clear for a very long time.

They started with college kids. Great. Tons of sexy bikini pics and such. $$$$

They opened up to boomers.

Boomers cant control themselves and made it shitty.

Kids didnt want to join a platform where their aunts share memes. No one on earth under 25 has a facebook account. Not one.

The college kids got older and stopped posting bikini pics.

Everyone complains that the feed is 90% non friend related content, but thats essential because 90% of friends dont post. And the 10% that do are the people you dont want to see all the time anyway.

Exact same thing happened with Instagram, except they dug their grave faster by doing the story thing, which meant theres no way to go back and browse bikini pics.

The James Plan to save social media:

--Under 18 can like but not post or comment
--Hotties ages 18-24 are prioritized on all feeds
--To encourage hotties posting daily, they get a 2% cut on all ad revenue generated near their post. More likes = more cash(more tiddies (or abs for the bois) = more likes)
--Individuals aged 40+ must pay per post/comment. Hot take? Thats $3 to submit.
--Add the same search engine porn sites use so you can find new people to follow (ie, asian bbw)
