I really hope that this doesn't turn into another one of those "DEFENDERS OF THE STATUS QUO" stories, given how overtly fucked the situation on Earth is.

Like, I really hope that this story doesn't become a "violence to overthrow an unjust status quo is bad m'kay" browbeating. I had enough of that with Marvel's tripe. I'm concerned because the story has largely spent most of the past 14 episodes justifying the Benerit Group's actions.

1.- Expecting “Violence is okay” from Gundam, a franchise so anti war that sympathizes with the Space Nazis esque faction” a little too much at times.

2.- Expecting “Violence is okay” from Marvel films, a superhero media giant owned by Disney.

Honestly, I find it pretty annoying when people come into threads like that. Yeah they could be an asshole, as it seems to be the case here. But dropping casual accusations without any context or explanation isn't productive.

People’s reactions to a veteran poster were disproportionately negative and rude, which is even less productive in my eyes.

Veteran poster? Who cares? As if they don't eventually turn on each other with bans for dismissive commentary/hostility, or on long worshipped celebs as soon as they do something cancelable.

Not really. Don't pop into a thread and make an explosive allegation that derails conversation and then refuse to elaborate. That's just a jerk thing to do. I like Feep and I'm glad they quickly realized they shouldn't have posted something if they weren't comfortable going into specifics.

Nah. Say what you will about specifics, I think people piling on was an absolute overreaction, regardless. People got nasty and needlessly rude.

I won't argue that. I think the forum is needlessly reactionary at times. But Feep admitted they messed up by posting it, so we also shouldn't read more into the reactions based on hindsight.

I think the 2021 Mazda 6 is up there

 

I have a 2014 of this in a similar color (its style hasn't changed much, however they stopped production of the 6). Its definitely a pretty nice and stylish car for the price range and compared to its competitors, though obviously nothing on Italian supercars or sleek sports cars.
