There is broad cross-political spectrum support for clarifying the language used in the human rights bill, because when it was written and it referred to "sex" as a protected characteristic, it meant biological sex because that was the only issue people had to deal with from a legal perspective at the time.
Since Stonewall started their lobbying campaign to redefine sex as gender (for which they got fired from multiple institutions as diversity consultants, because they were fucking lying about what the law actually says) this has changed, because right now if you take the Stonewall lobbyist position, literally any man can declare themselves a woman ackshually and ignore the entirety of the protections intended for women.

Not "any trans woman". Any MAN. Whether they genuinely believe they are trans or not.

It benefits EVERYONE for legal protections to be clear and unambiguous.

If you support a totalitarian government that is determined to build an alternative world order that's friendlier to autocrats (which is exactly what China is doing), a regime that stands against everything the left fights for (LGBT rights, minority rights), then you are not left - you are a tankie and this forum fits the bill: I noticed how in every (every single one, without fail) thread about China, there will be one or more people derailing the discussion with whataboutism about America or or using CCP propaganda catchphrases like "America's lapdogs" (and we have one in this thread, EricTheGamerman) or accusations of sinophobia or even some who 'both sides' and try to equate the Uyghur genocide with the American prison system as if they are the same thing (Thordinson in this thread, but a few others too), or even accusations of American warmongering (have y'all noticed how every time China threatens Taiwan or some other country, the same usual suspects will invariably have a post where they try to blame the crisis on America? even in the thread about China starting military exercises around Taiwan there's one who's using the 'warmongering' rhetoric seemingly blaming forum users and just about everyone except China for it lmao) and the worst part is mods are banning the ones who oppose the Chinese totalitarian government (but this has been happening for a long time, without many people noticing - and if others like me did notice, they didn't seem to talk about it, probably out of fear of retaliation from the mods).

I can't help but notice the irony of this forum being a place for minorities, while the mods seem to protect people with an agenda of shilling for an ethnostate, totalitarian regime that stands against every value ResetERA is supposed to stand for. It's going to be an interesting time to watch this cognitive dissonance and what mental gymnastics will be made to explain it. There was a time a few years ago when comparing the Uyghur genocide with a prison system was a bannable offence. That time is gone, and right now the agenda on this forum seems to be leaning pro-totalitarian regimes. I do wonder though how many of this forum's usual suspects are living (or have lived) in China. For that matter, how many of the mods are minorities and have lived in China. You’d think for the rising costs and the food mark-up, even today, you’d get much more tastier options at Disney Parks. However, I’ve always found the food in Disney Parks to be downright mediocre. Even in the fine dining spots. Heck, I even prefer leaving the parks and eating outside them at better venues for food.

I know food is not the draw, but at those prices—both tickets and food prices, you’d think they be better here.

Democracy died with COVID, it was already bad but when COVID hit it was clear as day who the real authoritarians were.

People lost their jobs or were forced to stay inside with the stroke of a pen because some virologist said so. In Canada they even confiscated bank accounts. Some jobs were deemed 'non-essential', some treatments were suddenly forbidden and doctors had their licenses taken away. Society was rapidly transformed into a two tier population. The vaccinated and the subhuman unvaccinated. Politicians used the fear tactics to their advantage. Questioning the regime was met with harassment from the mainstream media protecting those in power from any and all criticism and giving a platform to all those making massive profits. Whenever some judge ruled against a COVID rule for being out of bounds they quickly found some legal loophole to enact it anyway. It was scary how quickly the rule of law broke down and how many people blindly followed their leaders.

Looking back it hardly seems possible but it happened.

In order to dumb your TOTK Copy you need a hacked switch. So you can lie and say that you will be do that before playing on a emulator or acept piracy. Why? because if you already hacked you switch you wil be playing better in OC switch with better pixel density on handheld mode than with and emulator. And btw all that frames cheats or patches also works on original hardware.

Be that I play games from all eras all the time this thought that a modern game is unplayable because you've played games on superior hardware baffles me. The folks claiming sub 60 fps unplayable and anything under 1080p is 'an eyesore'. I'll be  playing the new Zelda on my launch Switch and I'm sure I'll enjoy my time with it.

And education/intelligence testing is their specialty not mine, so me not providing direct detailed commentary myself on intelligence testing is exactly what is to be expected of someone who knows how to stay in their lane. I’m a biomedical data scientist, not a special education/pedagogy researcher, so I’m not opining too heavily on intelligence testing racial bias and instead decided to defer to someone with actual credibility that I know: the person I live with. This is what credible researchers do—they consult credible knowledge outside their own sphere in collaboration and in combination with the literature—compared to useless hostile shitposting on the internet like you’re doing.

So you’re actually jumping the gun and full of a lot of baseless assumptions about my intentions, what I did and did not say, and what my partner did and did not say. Which is exactly what I would expect given I just got done accusing shitposters like you in this thread of lacking the skill to dissect academic literature required for a field this fast-moving and the nuance for critical discussion in the sphere of AI, and here you are flailing at reading comprehension and posturing aggressively against me as if you take my posts personally against you.
