Fast-forward to yesterday, after the procedure, I was informed that yes it was a hemorrhoid, but they also found and removed two plolyps--one being 10mm, the other 12mm.

So, while I'm waiting to hear back, as to whether they could have turned cancerous, I'm trying not to lose my head, and I would very much like to hear from the medical experts here (if there are any). Question 1--how fucked am I? Question 2--besides eating fibers, what do I need to do to avoid polyps from ever coming back? I'm 5'9, and a little under 163 lbs, if that matters.

PSA: I am 31 years old, and while I had always feared the worst, I still hoped things wouldn't come to this. If you ever even think something is wrong, PLEASE GET CHECKED OUT. For us born after 1990, the rates are climbing for colorectal cancer, and there's absolutely no shame in going to medical expertise if you feel something is off. As someone once said, pain is not, and should not be normal.

Making the claim how 'dangerous' it is for trans people, when most of the demographics and statistics of regular deaths by violence prove that to be the opposite, and then bulking up your list with street level hookers - who, spoilers, live a high risk lifestyle from countries that are also high risk of violent crime; what is the point?

Implying these are victims of transphobic violence is - at best - wilfully misleading, and at worst callously indifferent to world events because you only give a shit about deaths you can use for your pet crusade.
There is no common denominator for these victims outside of their 'transness'.
It lists people killed by their spouses / partners - probably fucking not transphobic violence.
It lists people killed by friends in suicide pacts where the killer changed their mind - again, probably not fucking transphobic violence.
Most egregiously, it lists people killed as part of a fucking military coup in Myanmar, but tosses out all the other victims to only highlight the - again, probably fucking not transphobic - deaths of the 4 or 5 trans people out of the hundreds killed including children.

Its such a transparently manipulative thing to do.

you'll notice the actual claim that they are victims of transphobia isn't made, but the rhetorical device of putting two unrelated pieces of information in close proximity so that if you're not actively using critical thinking you come to a conclusion that isn't true is a well tested propaganda technique.

Perhaps I’m being overly sensitive, but this just gets under my skin. And most of my friends and family do this. Asking me to call you back makes me assume something needs my attention immediately because you are currently incapacitated in some fashion.

9 times out of 10: “Oh, I just wanted to see what you were doing.”

…So you didn’t think to just ask that IN THE MESSAGE? They don’t limit or charge you for character count anymore…

I would much prefer just a “You up?” At least there’s a reach there, not a snapping of the fingers.

So what is it that you think you are currently doing? Beckoning me to do something you were equally capable of doing the first time AND not using your previously submitted message to acknowledge context? You just wanted ME to come to YOU?

Do these people walk up to strangers on the street and say “Hey, my garbage needs to go out.” As if you say, I know you don’t know me, but if you feel like taking my garbage out, that would be really cool of you.

I know that’s not equal in circumstance, but that is definitely what it *feels* like.

On top of this, when I *do* call my family back, the conversation usually starts with “Well, stranger…why haven’t you called me?” And not in a joking way. Like…for real? You asked me to call you so you could shame me for not calling you more?? As if you don’t already have my attention?

Sorry, just needed to vent. It’s just a pet peeve of mine. Do you have people in your lives that do this?
