It's only a dumpster fire if you surround yourself with trash. There's every kind of content you could think of on there, from high brow to the lowest. Sure, if you're just using their first-party client to consume it it's pretty bad because of the algorithmic fuckery going on, but 3rd party clients don't have to abide by that.

Funniest thing is that Jack Dorsey's position is probably the same as Elon Musk's and none of these people cared about that when they signed up and gave their lives over to Twitter. I think if I'm offended by anything it's that we're all sitting around pretending this remake of a thread the off-site trolls ate with a spoon not even half a year ago was definitely made in good faith when-It's a 4.5-year old account with 150 posts-The account has never posted about social issues before-The op made the thread and then ghostedJust seems more than likely we're making entertainment for some internet shithole here when most already agree there's no issue with using whatever emojis you like.
