I don't think there's anything wrong with considering how a tragedy can affect the community/marginalized group you're part of.  It's not like lawmakers haven't used stuff like that as justification for some pretty horrific shit in the past.

I just can't say I'd be surprised if this was in part due to the mental stress currently being put on transgender people around the country right now. The GOP is trying to push these kinds of outcomes, which we all know is part of the fascist playbook. And its not like the care about the people getting killed as a result.

Fascism is when you pass well meaning if misguided legislation to increase stress levels in a specific part of the population to promote mass shootings in order to... uh... more fascisms?
