Yeah, I did go overboard. I felt a little bad about it afterward seeing people's responses and his response. I sent him a PM apology but I don't plan on posting in that thread anymore.

I can't say whether or not I'm upset about my friend. I got sad driving to work today but it could've been because I was listening to Lenny Kravitz's Fly Away, which is almost comparable to dying. I've always kept my emotions to myself. One of these days I'll snap and go postal though, don't worry.

I still say the best way to mourn is to start drinking regularly and don't stop for about 4 months. Once you crawl out of the little alcoholic hole for a few days and your body recovers, you will feel so amazing and good that you will no longer give a fuck about the dude who died. You probably won't even remember he died, or who he even was, anyway.

I'd say you could cut the process down to a month if you included xanax in your drinking regimen. But for the abbreviated schedule, I would recommend liquor over beer, just to make sure you are getting enough booze in that shorter period.

That thread is a bit sickening to read. Maybe it's just me, but all it comes off as is a guy trying to get some attention and empty remorse. I don't know, it's like, if you try to put that situation in real life it would be a guy finding out the news about his friend dying, running into a mall and yelling out a cheesy eulogy. No one there actually cares, they just pop in and give their condolences, then they go back to getting angry over sports, video games, or whatever. I just feel like it's wrong to turn your friend's death into a spectacle to help comfort yourself.
