are you changing dressings at home or not?

my wound healed only after i started doing it at home on daily basis for a whole month or so.

going twice or thrice to the hospital to change dressings is not effective, i learned this the hard way.

I was having the doctor change them everyday until September.  The hole then got to small to change so they just left it to heal up - which it didn't do.  It's really tiny now - like it looks like a small dimple.   I'm worried that it's healed with something in it and that they are going to want to operate again.
